One thing I don't like is the way the Thais generalize everyone that's not Thai. There is really a them and us attitude. Sometimes knowing the language doesn't help.

Its improving but it still has a long way to go.

1. clear out all the hookers around the beach

2. rezone the bars and gentrify the <deleted> out of the beach road to second road section and push all the ugly shit back from the beach (maybe make an exception for WS and Soi 6)

3. clean the water at the beach if possible so its actually swimmable

4. attract less old sexpats and chinese package tourists

5. more greenary (turn one of those vacant lots between beach road and 2nd road into a public park (until it is ready to be developed)

If you don't plan to work or get married, then elite visa is really the only dog in the pony show for us younger guys. I'm most likely going to pick up the 20 year one. Thanks to Thailand's amazing tax laws regarding foreign sourced income and remittance, the elite visa will pay off after a couple years purely from the tax savings.

Love watching all these poor fossils complain. You guys didn't seem to care much when it was us younger guys feeling the heat.

GMC Style is great if you like a poorly constructed polyester suit. Not the type of place you go to if you actually want something of quality.

I remember the days of easy double entry tourist visas in Las. It was the way to go when I first moved to Thailand.

Vientiane must have lost a TON of money based on the tightening of tourist visas

I gave up a long time ago and just flew abroad to buy shoes.

I lived at city home ratchada soi 10 before. Area is fine and I rarely if ever saw any africans there. The africans tend to hamg around the sois behind fortune town. I havent been to soi 10 in a while so maybe ifs changed. 

Moving out and looking for someone to take over my lease. Probably the best value deal you can possibly get in Nana area. Literally a 3min walk to the BTS, 55sqm 1 bed room condo with a giant 25m pool. All the other 1br in this building are 20+ and even the smaller studios start at 15-16k.

Move in June 8-13 and lease ends Dec 11 (can be extended). PM me if you are keen and you can come check out the place.

It is also incredibly common for people to not wear seat belts at all in Thailand (which blows my mind).

Because pretty much any travel insurance package will cover a car passenger if they are wearing a seat belt. Even the cheapest ones do.

but advice is to take ur own material as cloth in thailand attracts huge duties and is very pricy

Narin and Tanika if you want full canvassed (but they take weeks and expect to pay 60k+ thb)

For a fused suit (which is every other tailor no matter what they tell you), Tailor On Ten is the best.
