Did that at kanchanaburi last year with a stat dec they wanted bank statements showing deposites,letters from oz government stating i was recieving pension.another way mate is to use an agent.

The only problem now is its getting harder to open a bank account,a  mate went to all banks in kanchanaburi, only one that would open an account was krungsi at robinsons after much  debate even krungsi in town would'nt do it

The bank  people who opened these accounts should be sacked for a start.

Proberly the same female that didnt want to pay her bill in hua hin...

Untill the police at least start to inforce helmet laws nothing will change.had a chat a while ago with a traffic cop and surgested helmet fines should be doubled his said oh thais can  not afford it, i said its simple just wear a helmet he didnt get my point.

I withdraw funds here by using a Aussie citibank atm card only get charged 220 baht from the thai banks and not charged by citi and get .4 more than thai banks exchange rate.

When they cant even enforce helmet laws what do they expect and most Thais dont even know their own road rules.

I will going to Australia later this month and returning to Thailand in December through Phuket Airport,i have a retirement extension and a single entry permit,will i have to show any money or sourses of income on arrival? Thanks
