For 9 years here, it was only once, when the landlord tried to keep the deposit (75k), fixed by one call to my friend in the police. Got my money 15 minutes after.

You should go to police,  better with Thai friend. Explain them situation and offer tips. Will be done faster than you can imagine.

If you don't have any, PM me i will give you my guy contact,  he will help.

    Its the way to go,,,,

'Causes of accidents were speeding 69% ' So the Government raises the speed limit.

Speeding is easily deterred with cameras and draconian punishments, oh, and a police force.  Pattaya's police are the most inept in the country; they don't work after dark/weekends (long ones)/holidays/ when it's raining/ when it's hot, in fact ...

You can add Kanchanburi police too.cheers

I think I read somewhere the new requirement is supposed to come in force from beginning of next year, but only a few months to go, no one knows anything about it...

It's a great money grab tool for the bibs...! Don't compare with before, now there is this new big bike license requirement...

@Kwasaki are you jealous of Forza riders now that they don't need this new big bike license.... ! lol... ????

To be honest a 300 or 400 are just as bad in being ridden dangerously, it's hard to draw the line somewhere but they have to pick a number...

From what i read when you renew your current bike you will have to change to their big bike licence,my old steed is 400cc in my green book but 398cc on the specs will see how i go with a copy of my specs,,,,

There are currently big 3 bad promotional stories running on the UK media about Thailand in the last 3 days.

    1. Thailand mass deaths on the road.

    2. Protests by the youth about rigged elections.

    3. Forced hair cutting of students by teachers and forced military like teaching.

Thailand - and especially the ruling elite - are being portrayed very, very badly now.

I cannot see the status quo carrying on - something is going to have to change - question though is is it for the better or worse

Another story in the Sydney Morning Herald, lets just say about Thailand and the Monarchy...

That sounds crazy LOL!  It's so bizarre how individual Imm offices seem to make up their own version of rules and procedures.  I never heard of a bank book being required to do 90 day reporting.  Doing it online is the ONLY way to go ????

Tried and was pending for over a week,,i know its easer..

  6. Went to do mine 90 day on line was still pending after a week so i went to kanchanaburi to do it was my 3rd for the year was told to go home get my bank book,i relied it is in Pattaya was then told go to Pattaya and come back monday,i just laughed and walked out,did it in Pattaya, many people here in Kan have been told the same thing,

Some time ago GM stated it would close ALL the plants manufacturing Right Hand Drive vehicles, as this was a limited market.

Most of these Thai workers will no doubt be starting at Great Wall soon, assuming the company does not change to a complete robotic assembly line

Read a story a while ago that great wall would not guarantee Thais work, wouldnt be surprised if they bring their own workers in bloody shame if they do.
