Millions of people have taken the Sinovac vaccine with only a few problems reported as far as I know. Why are people so against it?

Does anyone have reputable links that indicate that Sinovac is dangerous?

According to Bloomberg financial news, :

"China Sinovac Shot Seen Highly Effective in Real World Study "

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-05-11/china-s-sinovac-shot-found-highly-effective-in-real-world-study

It might not , I stress "Might" be the best vaccine, but why let the perfect be the enemy of the good. ?

We all complain about the restrictions, the inconveniences, the face masks, quarantines, closings of favorite places. People are economically hurting. businesses are closing, and we have a chance to get out of all of these, Travel again,.

Why not take the sinovak now , and later on when others become available, if need be, take a different t one? Does taking the sinovac preclude you from taking the Pfizer later on

"Health experts generally agree that the mixing and matching of the vaccines should be safe. But clinical trials are ongoing. "

    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/09/can-you-mix-and-match-covid-vaccines-heres-what-we-know-so-far.html

If I have to have the vaccination then I will choose which one, thank you

Any favorites? Any good ones, of basic chugging wines? I have a nearly impossible time finding a good wine here, for under 1,000 baht. Would rather buy a bottle of El Jimador Reposado tequila at the Gourmet Market liquor store for 1,200.

I find the McGuigans red quite nice in BigC, 499B

Its up to the Thai goverment to help not us. Back home its bad too but some jokes don't mean that there is no empathy. Its sad to see how this hurts people all over the world. Its time for governments to step up. In my country businesses get some support. Of course closures are happening and income is lost. Its sad but not as if we can help it. I too have less income because of it (clients hurting too).

But to joke a lil and to make light of a situation does not mean there is no empathy. Should we all be depressed and not laugh anymore. We aren't laughing at their misfortune just making word jokes.

Would be different if people were laughing at their misfortune and saying things like then they should not have cheated people before ect ect.

    Just my opinion.

Do not tar all people with the same brush

Well, thats the dirty rotten truth about many Farang/Thai relationships.

It's not based on love, or indeed attraction but much more a financial transaction. In that toxic relationship the idea that 'love' comes in to the equation is nonsensical.

If anyone is delusional enough to believe that the 60 somethings farang and the 20/30 something Thai relationship is based on anything but money and not love, you need help!

Thats a brutal truth, which I know will <deleted> folks off and I expect the blowback, but truth hurts

In my younger days, in the town where I lived, there were probably 3 well known companies who the girls knew were the top paying of anyone, you became targets for them. I used to go to many sporting events around the country which were frequented by many older guys with young ladies on their arms. Just saying. ????????

So already predicting and forecasting for the next month.  Just like predicting on the number of tourists that will arrive and then predicting on when Covid will go away.  Can't wrap my head around a future prediction on the weather.  A meteorologist is just like a politician, they can keep their jobs because they have a 50/50 chance of being correct and are never penalized when the forecast is different then what they said.

No different to UK, remember those famous words from Michael Fish

  6. Udon Thani is very, very quiet at the moment, many new hotels built/being built in soi sapang (hope I spelt it right) replacing bars (the main Street for the bars you are looking for) Night and Day is horrible (just my opinion) Nutty Park nicer, just around the corner of soi sapang (bottom end) if you want cheap beer to start, top end of soi sapang . Viking Bar, happy hour until 8-00 pm Leo 55 baht (small) just around corner is a nice bar Leo 50 baht (have sport TV) not big but nice (2nd bar down) Enjoy
