Did you get lapped by Colin? (Just kidding I hear he's going fast).
Race video! I was 3rd on the starting grid and finished third. Once the leaders pulled away there isn't much to see until I start lapping some stock guys later in the race. Enjoy

Filtering through the KSR and Ninja 250 traffic I felt like I was going fast, until the Flying Canadian would blast past me as if I was standing still
Great fun and I have a lot to work on to get my times down.
Let the Good Times ROLL!
Tony
You sure do Tony - lots of work.

Not for North Thailand - we have road and dirt trail data & all will autoroute.
I presently have Thailand Street Map Version 11.1 SD Card in my Garmin GPS - Would I lose any road map quality or routing capability by switching to this SD card Map?
-
The North Thailand Road & Off-Road printed map & the North Thailand Off-Road and tarmac GPS map, both having amazing detail of the region, having more off-road tracks than any other map available. All the data is from GPS recordings, so very accurate

2012 Speakers (to come):
We're planning on THREE media shows about riding in Myanmar (Burma) for the night: One from recent on the ground research in Rangoon, a group riding in for a wedding in the Shan State a month before the meeting, and Greg Frazier's expedition inside a couple of years ago.
How about you? We're all here to learn, and there's LOTS to learn! We want to do more presentations and clinics - but we need volunteers to give them! Any topic you can contribute having to do with motorcycle travel, maintenance, planning etc, lasting 20 minutes or more, would be great. Please contact me here to volunteer.
Previous speakers and presentations were:
Chris Banks, who shared his near-drowning experience in Morocco with the group. Banks and his fellow travellers lashed their motorcycles to trees when caught in a flash flood. His presentation was one of near death and survival.
Greg Frazier, a terrific multimedia "Sun Chasing – Four Times Around The World By Motorcycle, Four solo rides around the world, some hard, some soft - none boring."
"How My GPS Lost Me In Southeast Asia"
"No Strangers To Danger – Survival Riding In Third World Countries"
"Think You Are Tough?"
Riding A Motorcycle To Alaska
ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLE magazine's 2006 "Adventure Motorcycle Ride"
The 2006 Famed "Colorado 500" Dirt Bike Ride
Grant and Susan Johnson's "The Achievable Dream" – How To Ride Around The World
how about you?? Let us know if you have something to show! Volunteers wanted for these and any other subjects you'd like to talk about! It's easy and fun, and we'll help you out.
All times - and everything - approximate!

I didn't know that Rider's Corner served food. Guess I don't get out enough. The location is good for me when I am on my way home. What time is 'last orders' for food?
Normally last food orders around 10pm-10.20pm - Come see us!
Menu is pretty much the same as the link below
Let's not hi-jack the thread and get it back on track for Mighty Moe's Deli
-
Good to highlight places that go the extra mile and have good food - everyone needs a choice of places to eat, i'd prefer they go to the good ones, keeps us on our toes.
I just wanted to give Rider's Corner props for being so big and giving praise to another dining establishment, never the less posting all the pretty pics! As a satisfied customer of both establishments it's so nice to see. I for one am not interested in eating at the same place every night so this friendly attitude just makes me want to eat at both more. On the other hand, Shep my friend, though your intentions might be well placed and an interesting idea in general, I believe that is a can of worms already opened resulting in finding it full of snakes!

I'd been hearing good things about Mighty Moe's Deli in Chiang Mai, so a friend and I popped down there for lunch today. I don' think they've been open very long, I think about 5 weeks, but they seemed to have got their act together pretty quick, with a couple of great smiley girls (especially the lady from Chiayapum) that are very professional - not easy to find here.
I got 1/2 pastrami & 1/2 lean corned beef (they have 2 kinds Andrew says the fattier one tastes better, will try next time) on rye bread - it was delicious.
.
Prices are ok for the quality of what you're getting
Just corned beef on rye, this was the fatty corned beef apparently very tasty
Some great looking deserts
Location of Might Moe's Deli is in the map below. Coming south down Chaiyapoom rd, turn left at Starbucks onto Tapae rd & Might Moe's Deli is 30 meters on your left just after the Boots pharmacy - well worth a visit with those huge filled sandwiches.

We have the large bottled "Chang Export" at Rider's Corner Bar & Restaurant in Chiang Mai . I think it's the best tasting Thai beer by far NOTHING like regular Chang beer which tastes like chemicals and gives you a stinking hangover, i'm very impressed with this beer, very clean taste, come try it.

The new Garmin Montana 600 series GPS's are amazing GPS's, I've just installed mine and am very impressed (I have 5 Garmin GPS's and I always now reach for this one).
There's a write up with lots of info in the link below:

It's on about 1 million domains on the net, you shouldn't see the footage?
The official summary from MotoGP is in the link below (only click if you wish to see the full story)

Sorry RidersCorner, that video is just too graphic. Out of respect to Marco Simoncelli's family, friends and fans I've asked the mods to remove it. Incredibly tasteless...
I very much doubt Marco's family are monitoring Thai Visa. This is in the public domain and as a very keen Motor Cyclist which I don't doubt, I'm sure you would have seen this on Television live already.
Get off your high horse.

Hope it all works out - Might Moe's has outstanding food, it would be a real shame to see this place go.
