If I knew anything about history? Dear me, another witless shark jumper.

"Stay home and social distance to avoid spreading covid." A few moments later. "BLM riots and mass gatherings are fine. Remember to wear your mask" "To stop covid spread?" "No, dummy - to stop the police identifying you." Halfwits.

To clarify. That post was referring to Pennsylvania.

I'm interested in your opinion. Here's my initial thoughts. Let's imagine for a moment that Harris is correct and a vote for Trump is a vote for a Nazi. Where does the USA go from here? Nearly 50% of the American population are Nazis. Really? What can be more divisive than labeling your political opponents Nazis? How can you divide like this then expect to unify the country under your Presidency? How will Harris deal with the 50% Nazi population? Gulags? That's been tried before with political opponents. But seriously - what's the game plan? The game plan is to make Trump an "illegitimate President" again from day one. Instead of Russia, Russia, Russia - its Hitler, Hitler, Hitler. As sure as night follows day if the Dems wins the House they will find an excuse to impeach Trump again. It's borderline that they will win the House in this election, they'll likely win it midterm. And then they'll impeach. What for? Don't know. They might hear Trump saying he likes German Shepherds or schnitzel. They'll then decide it's proof he's a card carrying Nazi. They've exhausted the Russia line. Now it's full on Godwins Law. And the problem is? Dem strategists are already warning it's not sticking. And after one near miss followed by a thwarted assassination attempt at the golf course, Dem strategists fear two things. 1. Another attempt on Trump this week. 2. Being labeled the hateful party. If there is another attempt on Trump before election day then this election is over. The low preponderance voters will show out in vast numbers for Trump. Not because they love him. But because they are sick of the constant hateful rhetoric. So here's the problem. Harris has hitched herself to the hateful Hitlerite third rail. Even if she wins next week, the shock of touching that toxic rail will define her Presidency. And if she loses? The Dems will make the Russia Hoax look like a chimps tea party.

You know something that you American conservatives forget? Your constant harping on about the Dems cheating is the best way to subdue Republican turnout. You are literally telling people it's a waste of time voting. Then you wonder why you lose states by 10,000 votes ( Georgia ). Just promote voting by Republicans, stop putting people off.

The 5th Circuit Appeals court has already ruled that votes received after election day cannot be counted. Nevada Supreme Court ruled that they could. The GOP will appeal today to the 9th Circuit Appeal court and they are in a no lose situation. If the 9th Court agrees, the practice of counting late ballots will end. If they disagree, the issue will arrive at the Supreme Court and they will rule late ballots cannot be counted. It won't help this election cycle unless the 9th Circuit orders the late ballots to be quarantined. In the unlikely event there's enough to affect the election result the 9th Circuit will have to rule in November ( replay of Florida 2000 )

Polling averages don't matter now. The votes are flooding in at numbers no pollster could attempt to sample. A Dem analyst in Nevada reckons there's a high turnout of low preponderance voters in red areas. He says at the current rate he'll be able to call Nevada for Trump before election day. That's due to his estimated total turnout. I don't care what anyone says - no one anticipated Biden being hammered in Nevada. The substitution of Harris has not helped.
-
The total numbers are available but no one knows how they voted. It's reckoned that 95% plus of party affiliated voters vote with their party.
-
Another point of note - the Dems had an early voting lead of 1.1 million over the GOP back in 2020. They lost the election day turnout by a vast margin. IMO, they need to be ahead 900,000 this time to be confident of victory. Absolute minimum of 700,000 and that will give the DNC sleepless nights. Current lead is around 400,000.
-
Point of note - Nevada early voting ends on Friday.
-
Not inc;luding independents - the current state of play according to NBC early voting figures Arizona - R 42% D 35% Nevada - R 40% D 35% Georgia - R 49% D 45% N Carolina - R 34% D33% Wisconsin - D 36% R 23% Michigan - D 48% R 41% Penn State - D 59% R 31% So at this rate if one of the blue wall states crack then Trump wins. All true. The genuine risk of the invasion failing. That's why the CCP got a fright when Russia was driven back from Kiev by NATO weaponry. Anyone who knows China knows the national trauma of the Opium Wars runs deep. The CCP would be gambling its entire existence on an invasion of Taiwan. If it failed their omnipotent grip on the country would collapse overnight. And for all of you that think the CCP is in total unchallenged control. The CCP had a nervous breakdown when their people saw soccer fans attend the Qatar world cup without masks. Street protests erupted and their entire COVID CONTROL policy collapsed overnight. The fear of an embarrassing setback, never mind defeat, is too great for the CCP to roll the dice on an extremely difficult invasion over 100 miles of the most protected oceanway on planet earth. -

As I was saying about mentally ill. How demented do you need to be to read that Russia cannot win a conventional war against NATO then call the messenger a "Russian troll." Truly demented - or maybe it is a form of dementia? -

I'm going to sleep. I wonder how many will now go research Revelations. I wrote a thesis on that chapter in 1982. Seek out the biblical story of the rise of the "Yellowman" It will lead you to why the Evangelicals support Israel with a passion. -

So I, one of the guys who joined the British army because I detest Marxism, am now to be labeled a Russian plant by a worthless troll clown on the Internet. Let me add something. As a West of Scotland Protestant in uniform during The Troubles, I faced abuse from the Irish Republican section of my home town. I didn't and still don't give a flying <deleted> about Ireland. As I said to them and I say to you. I joined the British army as I detest Karl Marx and all his Satanic spawn with a lifetime passion. People like you calling people like me Russian plants are utter category one scum. You earned that title, wear it with pride. -

And now a second question for the Dunning-Kruger syndrome sufferer. Why has China not invaded Taiwan? I've posted the answer here before. -

Sometimes on this forum a member jumps the shark. Dunning-Kruger syndrome. Let's see if this clown can answer the true ""China Syndrome." Russia has no allies that can tip the scale. North Korea? Give it a rest. So China? You'd need to be either mentally ill or a believer in the Revelations chapter of the bible to believe that China would go to war on behalf of Russia. Which is it? -

You are making things up in your head. The reason Russia cannot defeat the West is clear. They do not have the manpower. Your point about how vast the country? This is not Napoleonic War time, and neither would NATO make the mistake of replaying the WW2 land invasion. Note I said conventional war only. It would not be a conventional war as the Russians KNOW THEY WOULD LOSE and would pull out the only tool they have - Nuclear blackmail. You accuse me of Heritage Foundation blah blah drivel. Let me help you here - point me to a single conservative think tank promoting the idea that we are spending too much money on military build up? You can't. By that single comment you proved yourself a buffoon, out of your league on these issues. -

My view, based upon what Mexicans told me when I lived there during 2016. What Mexicans want. Legal access to the US workplace - no surprise. What they'll happily accept - seasonal visas so they can arrive when there is a surge in labor force requirements. What they dream of - seasonal visas at US pay rates. What they fear - constant harassment and gangmasters. What they love - Mexico. There's a misconception that Mexicans want to live permantly in the USA. Some do, many want to dip in and out of the labor market and take advantage of the lower cost of living in Mexico. And many just love being at home. What they really don't like - their access to the USA being controlled by gangs. And catching the whiptail of Central American migration. Even worse when they see Africans, Chinese etc using their country as a stepping stone. What defeats the Democrats. Trump's tariff use is intended to punish unfair trade. The one way to upset him is to tariff American products then expect free access to the US market. He doesn't mind the Mexican economy growing as it reduces emigration demand and a wealthier nation to the South is preferable to exporting cash to Asia. Here's something virtually none of you know. Thailand has been watchlisted by the USA for years. Currency manipulation draws the attention of the Fed Reserve - keep that in mind when you hear Thai politicians request intervention in the currency markets Also, the USA is well aware of unfair Thai tariffs. So far the judgement has been political ( alliance ) benefits over tariff brutality. This is why you see Thai politicians dance around Sino-Thai relations. They don't want the US moving them into the wrong column. Equally, they don't want to scunner the Chinese who are historically dominant in this theater. Hence why you see a lot of pushback against Chinese infrastructure investments. Just like Malaysia, Thailand fears being in excessive debt to China. Put simply. Tariffs are used routinely against the USA. It cannot be a shock to anyone that US Presidents are capable of retaliation. But here again the Dems are on a hook of their own making. Human rights abuses now figure into international trade ( quite right ). Environmental issues do not. The West breathes the same air as China eventually. If anyone is serious about climate change ( and I'm not getting involved in that argument ) then manufacturing methods must be on the table. The UK - the original coal island - has closed all coal fired power stations while China opens a new one every week? What is the point. Welcome to Alice in Wonderland where the mad hatters run around spouting inane garbage with zero lateral thinking. Just like this forum on a normal say. 🫠 -

What these utter clowns don't know is that the Mexican government poured Federal resources into THEIR SOUTHERN BORDER AT THEIR EXPENSE to stop the migrant flow before they got onto Mexican soil. Anyone that thinks that Trump's policies on illegal immigration didn't save the US taxpayer a fortune is a moron. -

Correct. Mexico paid for the wall through bending to Trump's demands to reduce crossings via the Remain in Mexico policy. When Biden canceled the policy the floodgates crashed open. Anyone who thinks the Mexicans would have voluntarily introduced a policy to take on the social cost of housing migrants is wired to the moon. It was entirely Trump's doing and he saved the US taxpayer a fortune.
