  1. Okay, I'll bite - list the far right policies that Trump introduced during his Presidency.
  2. I know the difference between a Marxist and a socialist, and if you don't think that Marxism is pouring through the American Left then you aren't paying attention.
  3. You've never met genuine far right. Its a fantasy you've allowed to develop in your head.
  4. pattayasan will be here in a few moments to explain that photograph and how it affects his life today. That's because pattayasan is a world expert on everything and he knows exactly what that photo represents and how it affects his life today. Over to you, pattayasan.
  5. And yet another hoax is born. The genuine American left regard the Cheney family as rancid scum, the Devil incarnate. They are not falling for this drivel. They agree with Trump, how fast would Cheney be to declare war if she was on the front line? And this was the received wisdom on the Left for decades. Liz Cheney is a neocon, she is her father in drag. The neocons detest Trump as they love nothing better than forever wars. They feel they can impose America's will on the world and fear anyone growing strong enough to challenge. That's the primary reason why the US military budget is wild compared to other countries, and the primary reason why its regarded as virtually traitorous to suggest reducing the budget. In this, I also blame Trump, as he also fell for the "boast about increasing military spending" blunder. The USA does not need a near Trillion dollars per year military spend. The country effectively cannot be invaded, and there's no appetite for overseas intervention after the Iraq War etc. More to the point, drone warfare is the next frontier. Soldiers will be replaced by targeted AI flying thousands of small impact explosive drones onto grid targets.
  6. Yes, I'm aware of that and he couldn't have brought in a better policy to destroy farms. Naturally the clown brigade is all over Jeremy Clarkson buying a farm to escape IHT. He is far from normal. Normal are families who are emotionally tied to their land and lifestyle for generations. I have no problem with Clarkson types having to pay IHT for the first generational transfer. Hitting people who have owned land for 200 years with IHT is just ridiculous. They have no control over the value, it's governmental brutality against the custodians of our countryside. Truly appalling.
  7. I rarely discuss British politics. I will say that the level of rage I'm seeing is off the scale. The attack on farmers is unbelievable. My mate, who's a ninth generation farmer and unmarried, is in a panic as he reckons he's leaving a crippling inheritance tax bill to his nieces and nephews. These are just working class kids. He thought he would die on the farm, he's now looking to sell and distribute the cash before death. Who's going to buy? Companies - and they'll turn the British countryside into factory farms. Generations of independent knowledge and care will disappear. It's absurd. You're not a farmer, you don't care? Right - my Dad has just discovered that his pension scheme is liable to 40% tax. This is a man who started off down the mines, and worked in engineering and quarries his entire life. He lives a frugal life, he remembers poverty, as does my mother. He now has eighteen months to obliterate his pension savings or lose 40% to the tax man. He's just recovering from an illness, not doing well at the moment, and he gets hit with this just before his 80th birthday. It's cruel.
  8. Nevada early voting has closed.
  9. Not this year as they have learned to quit with that nonsense. Nearly as nonsensical as thinking Ohio will go blue this year. I know it's not 2020. No Dem strategists hoped for a mere 420,000 early vote lead at this election. Especially when the GOP won election day by a million votes in Penn State DURING COVID YEAR. Anyway we'll find out soon enough.
  10. I will say that if Trump loses NC he deserves to lose the election. However I detect a touch of "Texas wishful thinking" where the Dems keep predicting Tx will go blue and in reality they lose by a clear margin. I'm going: Trump wins North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Nevada. I think that gives him 265 electoral college votes. So it's down to Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin again. And let's be honest - no one predicted a nominal early voting lead of only 400,000 for the Dems in Penn State. That's a shocking reduction from 2020.
  11. Drivel. Democrats confirm they have removed financial resources from North Carolina because "we booked ads and had some extra money and we didn't know what to do with it" If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you. Also, same reporter - Republicans out in high numbers, Democrats in lower than expected numbers, independents out at the same rate as Dems. "We don't know how the independents are voting."
  12. 56% female early voting is not unusual. But to be clear, I'll be shocked if Trump wins Va
  13. For those of you that don't know: The lady on the left is Laurene Powell Jobs, wife of Steve Jobs, publisher of The Atlantic. Between Epstein, Weinstein and P Diddy, the Dems have a world class roster of sexual offenders.
  14. Reports coming in that the Dems have moved resources out of North Carolina ( accepted defeat ) and are trying to shore up Virginia. GOP is hoping to keep the Dem election day lead under 250,000. I can't work out the maths but the GOP thinks the current Dem lead is 150,000. My maths says 208,000 Dem lead. If Va votes Trump, Harris is kaput. .
  15. Bottle crashing time. Dem strategists are now hoping for a 480,000 vote lead in Pennsylvania. Their original target(s) are impossible to hit now. Their current lead ( 400,000 ) will be destroyed by the GOP on election day. To put it in perspective, the last time the GOP win on election day was that low ( only 400,000 ) was 1968. In 2020 the GOP election day win in Penn State was 1 million.
  16. It's unbelievable what they fall for. And now he'll throw a tantrum.
  17. Explain how Trump needs to tell countries to reduce production when there's demand destruction and no storage facilities? Come on, man - no one is this thick.
  18. You're talking stupid and you have been caught talking stupid. Worldwide demand for oil crashed during covid, by April 2020 there was no physical capacity to hold the amount of barrels being produced. The article explains exactly what happened. Look, just do yourself a favour and accept you've made a fool of yourself.
  19. Hilarious. Only someone as dumb as Cuban and you - oh, and the Daily Kos, could come up with this utter drivel. Tell me, can you think of any reason why oil companies reduced production in April 2020? https://global.unc.edu/news-story/how-the-covid-19-pandemic-plunged-global-oil-prices/
  20. That book is well worth a read, absolutely fascinating.
  21. Some light reading for those of you interested in the USA's role as "World Policeman"
  22. I don't want to get dragged into this topic just now - this is a fair explanation of the neocons. https://youtu.be/lLO66g6NAm0?si=bB0KZrlT6KeBUKhC
  23. Will it settle what question? That Liz Cheney is a neocon and war hawk? Absolutely no sane person on the planet would argue against that. And her father? The man that effectively ran the political campaign to invade Iraq? I'll tell you something, in my life I've seen some strange political bedfellows, but I never thought for a moment that the American Left would embrace the Cheney family. Never. And knowing the American Left, they will cast her out as soon as they get a chance post-election. There is truth in the saying that my enemies enemy is my friend, but the Cheney's are in a different category. They type of category who will be FURIOUS if Trump does a deal to end the Ukraine War.
