  1. Thank you gotlost, this is it. There may be different kinds of sweet potatoes, as the sweet potatoes that I had

    before where different looking and tasting.

    Most southerners call them "Kee noo", and I had no luck with dictionaries and google...

    Kha-Nom ist not the word for sweet potato but for dessert or maybe snack.

    But there is a "Kha-Nom Kee Noo", maybe this dessert contains sweet potatoes...

    I have been to immigration in Chaeng Wattana about two weeks ago.

    I have a child, but am not married yet.

    May name is on the birth cert.

    I got a 60 day extension on my non O.

    I had to bring

    the birth cert as well as copies

    the girlfriend (mother of child)

    Her ID or passport as well as copies

    My PP and copies

    Application form

    PP photograf

    Housing registration of partner (blue book) as well as copies.

    Your partner needs to come along in order to sign some papers.

    It took about on hour or a bit more. They close for lunch between 12 and 13 h

  3. Really? No good greek restaurants at all? That's surprising for such a big city. There is such an abundance of everything else, why not Greek?

    Not that strange. There is not one Ethiopian restaurant in Thailand either.

    No, there is one (or at least it was there a few years ago) close to askok junction.

    I had a very nice cup of coffee there, which was freshly roasted in the back of the

    room on a small charcoal fire.
