Yes mine would have been the same if the Officer from Mae Sai had been there. Had to wait for her to return from a break.

Today did my annual retirement extension. Arrived at 2pm. All done in 30 minutes.

I got my proof of income letter by sending the appropriate documents by email to the Canadian Embassy in Bangkok. Our Embassy is wonderful and have always received excellent service in my many years here.

Couldn't have been much longer, an officer headed me off at the door, took my passport and was back out with the business done before I could find somewhere to sit outside.

Its been that way for a while now. Did mine last week. Was told I can renew my retirement extension 45 days in advance.

I have done my 90 day report once 2 days late at Chiang Rai, no problem.

Did mine at Phan on Thursday. Same as Mojaco for the 2 tests, but did not have to watch any video. In and out within 45 minutes. Office opened at 0800, I was there at 0830.

My friend in Pattaya has said stores have implemented rules for entry. Scanning your smartphone and signing in and out. New World Order stuff. I was wondering if anyone has recently visited Makro here in CR and what rules are in place. Last month it was just washing hands and temperature being taken. Thanks.

I will be going to CR Immigration next week to renew my 1 year extension based on retirement. Has anyone done this recently and can provide their experience.  Also confirmation of what docs are required would be appreciated. I have my letter from my Embassy to prove income. I would also expect a lot of people will be there due to this virus. Thank you.

Canadian Embassy in Bangkok has always responded to my emails. They have always been most co-operative and a pleasure to deal with. I am in the process of getting my proof of income letter by mail.

Not by air at the moment. They give you the option to do it by sea, which takes 3 months. DHL are still in operation.

On another forum it was reported that Mae Sai Immigration Office was closed. Can anyone confirm or is it false info.
