  1. Good question, VocalNeal.

I'm not happy with this table, but you might check it yourself:

    Another good read:

I don't really care about what happens to me next week.

OK. You don't care. It's your choice.

But there are other (innocent, unknowing, stupid, poor, ...) people, the young and the old,

living 4 to 6 months each year in this unhealthy air.

Not only some years, but usually their whole life...

Nothing is done about it in SE-Asia, Myanmar(?), Bangladesh, India, Pakistan.

Only China seems to improve. Really. - And not only today.

    The Wind Blew It Away.

  3. Feb 18,  2021   -   17:00

We had strong winds this afternoon, so the air

(and the numbers) much better now than in the table!

    image.png.7740c17b6f94d04cfdc31e4ad5617bfc.png

North of Phrae  40ug/m3  or  AQI 112 -

    while AQI 164 would be PM2.5 81 ug/m3

The air from northeast seems to be ok, while NW winds might

be very bad.  -  Anybody knows the situation in Myanmar?

    image.png.7dbe993c84c55de38d940c6bc864b6ba.png

A further explanation for the high AQI levels up north could

be the power plants Mae Moh/Lampang and Mae Sot/Tak.

I could smell smoke this morning

This can be anything. PM2.5 not necessarily smells.

Normal for this time of year.
