And thanks to all these Thai people, helping on the road.

Wonderful idea, but No! First check the weather conditions, temperature, humidity and
in the north of Thailand in February, the air pollution. - That's all.

That's another subject, but without any own PM2.5-meter, you'll never know what's really going on.
So I better should say: stay well.

One question: From where does all this particulate matter stem from?
I like to suspect India, China, Bangladesh, then slash and burn, the Thai farmers,
the power plants Mae Moh and Mae Sot, the gas and diesel exhausts, the abrasion
of the brake and clutch linings, - oh, the fires in Cambodia and in Laos and the aircrafts, too.
All, everthing is bad. Stop.
I'm sure I forgot something.
What about this virgin state of Myanmar?
One reading thanks to the US Embassy Rangoon, Yangon, ရန်ကုန် or what?
Yangon boasts the largest number of colonial-era buildings in Southeast Asia,[4]
and has a unique colonial-era urban core that is remarkably intact. Thanks, Wiki!
And only one measuring point? - OK.

That is possible.
Try out https://www.airnow.gov/aqi/aqi-calculator/ and check the difference of the
PM2.5 values. - A strong breeze might produce this in some minutes...
By the way, do you have PM2.5-meters? - It's a 'must'.
Just adding: PM2.5 numbers totally different from AQI...
I use two different devices, because years ago, I couldn't believe what the first one showed.
This applies to the met. stations also. - A 'certain uncertainty' however will always remain.
* This subject is more difficult than often thought. *
May I suggest? Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 3H/2S, not expensive and works well,
replacement filters normal price. e.g. https://www.lazada.co.th/
A PM2.5-meter is included, but better have your own meter too.

Lampang/Mae Moh isn't too far from Phrae,
Phayao, Chiang Rai, so I think this table
might be interesting for all.
# 4 another lignite fired power plant,
may be without correct filters.

This is not smoke from Greta555, it's the
particulate matter table, the Top Ten of
Thailand. - ChiangMai people should be glad.
Please, don't mention Mae Moh near Lampang.
It's only a coincidence.-You want to know more about
Mae Moh? It's a lignite fired power plant, and I think,
they're not cleaning their filters since 20something.
(same with Mae Sot/Tak)

It's not a question of believe.
Everyone should be able to read a PM2.5 meter.
Here and now - it shows between 25 and 30 ug/m3.
I think there are no other air pollutants to consider,
so the AQI might be between 78 and 89.
OK?
By the way, a village nearby: AQI 81
Phrae city(20km) AQI 152-165
Some models:
