    Who's right here

It depends on time and place, a bit difficult.

    Your #1   AQI 108     -     PM2.5  38

#2 is Rongkwang Hospital in Rongkhem:

    AQI  141   should be  PM2.5  about 50

    #3  Ventusky  13:00   PM2.5  51 ug/m3  ~  about AQI  142

and at our place now:  PM2..5  49  0  AQI  136

    All not too different.

    Great link, thanks dutchkev.

But I'm convinced corn isn't the main polluter if there is one at all.

To make it short, in the moment the biggest problem seems to be

    a temperature inversion.

... An inversion traps air pollution, such as smog, close to the ground.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inversion_(meteorology)

Our daily smog is widespread, from the Himalayas to northern China.

It was only a question of time to arrive over Thailand.

I can't see any industrial, road traffic or crop burning pollution in the Sahara

I think in Africa it's sub saharan crop burning pollution etc.

A different problem than in Thailand, situated between India and China.

Please don't forget, it's winter and charcoal produces a lot of 'bad' air. Everywhere...
