Theres a lounge you can smoke in at concourse D, they charge 1500 for entry but I use priority pass to enter.

There is a rule that the laptop must not be worth more than 40'000 THB if you want it to get through Customs easily... If it is worth more than 40'000 THB you may need an import licence and/or type approval.. I bought a Galaxy Book 4 edge from Ebay and it flew through customs.. it cost $1000 only.. I know I am going to sound like typical unhelpful response, but you should see a doctor.. people are suggesting SSRI like Sertraline for example but this is usually for moderate to severe mood imbalances, like depression, PTSD etc like on the upper end of severity. While not addictive, it can affect the chemical balances in the brain and be life changing if not used correctly. Fluoxetine also available OTC, as well as Sertraline, Trazodone, Amitryptaline (lots) but take recommendation from Doctor and not ThaiVisa 🙂

There can be lots of reasons, one common one is that the item does not have NTBC approval and has been shipped using a Radio Communications Device HS code. In other words the manufacturer/importer has not put it on the approved list and as a result requires a document/import licence saying the device has passed regulatory approval in Thailand. Much in the same way you may not be able to import something without a CE mark or UKCA mark into Europe/UK. You are very unlucky really, in reality this sort of thing just slips through but one wrong HS code on the import is enough to flag this..

Maybe not in your case, but posting bills on Facebook and not covering the q-code can reveal all personal information which can be easily retrieved. (I won't say how exactly) Many people post summer bills when they are high.
