If you had worked there longer. you could have claimed severance pay based on Thai Labour Law. As you do not qualify for that, it is better to sign the resignation letter and keep a copy so that new employers can see that you resigned and were not sacked.

So, they needed to try to slow down the world leader in 5G. This is all about politics and industrial might, and has nothing to do with espionage, would be my guess. That sounds like something the US would make up, and my guess is that most Americans are buying into the stink.
I agree with you about some american technology being inferior, my company in the UK had to deisgn and build all the electrical hardware and controls for some of the largest American Water Treatment companies because their electrical equipment was 50 years behind the EU and B.S. standards. I could not believe it when i saw their first rejected containerised plant which had knife switches!

If you look inside the channels in the tread you will see bars that indicate when the tyre should be replaced. If you buy respectable brands of tyres and do not do handbrake turns, slides and skidding for fun, they will last longer. Honda alos try to fool my wife into changing perfectly good tyres at 40,000kms. Always inpect the sides of your tyres for bulges or damage due to scraping the kerb and replace if damage looks like the tyre could blow out at speed. Beware of cheap tyres, they sometimes are not rated for high speeds.

From what I can see, the dual lines are the same 1,000mm gauge as the existing single track. So the trains ain't going to be going any quicker.
The current average speed of the single line, 1 Metre gauge track, is 60km/hr. The current track is very old and the new dual track will be able to take heavier passenger and freight trains. When completed and new rolling stock delivered, the maximum speed for passenger trains be raised to 120km/hr with an average speed of 90 - 100kmhr. Current freight trains avergage 29km/hr and the average speed will be raised to 42km/hr.

Been in the water and waste treatment business for 50 years. Worked hands on with sewage plants let alone swimming pools. The only problem I have had working on 1,000s of palnts including swimming pools is Pseudomonas Aeruginosa which causes swimmer's ear (an ear infection). Had it twice in Thailand, so now I wear ear plugs, and no problem. There is no problem with swimming pools and COVID-19, only air borne transmission.

I am retired and have been here since 1994. I have had a Citibank Credit Card for the last 26 years. Once you prove that you can pay the outstanding each month there is no problem. I can also get one from my bank, Bangkok Bank. Had an HSBC credit card also, which they secured with a yearly insurance payment. Citibank has an annual fee including insurance but this is waved if you have a reasonable amount of annual spending. I always pay mine on time, so I am low risk to them. If your local branch gives you a problem, go to the head office as it is the head office who decide whether to give you a credit card or not.

On some aircraft, it is very difficult to watch TV on the seat in front of you because of the design. The first models of the Boeing 787 Dreamliners delivered to Qatar Airways gave me a neck injury because you could not see the TV properly and use the neck support.

The gyms are not open in Bangkok. Our Gym only allows the use of the swimming pool, badminton and tennis, following the Government and local guidelines.

The United States under Trump has already been in arrears on paying their dues to the W.H.O. for the last two years.

I remember visiting the Survivor supposedly, remote Island of Pulau Tiga, Sabah, Malaysia (Borneo), shown in the first series. I was amazed to see that if you walked through the trees from the Survivor Tribal House you came to a holiday resort with chalets. I can't believe that these people have a problem. Looks like another con like the Survivor TV series.

It is one of the most prestigious Chinese companies (basically the Chinese Apple), but they have blatantly stolen and copied from Apple and other Western companies. While Huawei is so-called private and ownership details are murky, it's generally accepted that the government and government officials (Xi and friends) have a significant stake in the company. This is one way for Trump to get Xi's attention without being completely in his face about it. Every time the US puts some pressure on Huawei the Chinese scream like a dentist poking a raw nerve - it's quite obvious what's going on here.
Trump has re-written the playbook for dealing with China from the previous three administrations which hoped bringing China into the WTO would reform their behavior - didn't work at all. Business interests were too afraid to confront China when they stole technology, ignored trademarks and blatantly copied products. The legal system in China is useless and the threat of lost business (and imprisonment) are all too real for companies to complain. I think many US and Western business are secretly rooting for this new approach and Trump is proven correct every single day as China continues to abuse its power (see Australia recently).
The United States industrial revolution was also founded on copying and stealing mainly British and European inventions that were also subject to Patent and/or copyright. Now the U.S. are complaining about China. The latest is the N95 facemask which was copied from the facemack invented by the Chinese Manchurian Army. U.S. companies have copied inventions of my own and other European Companies and even managed to get U.S. Patents on the copied products.

The U.S. intelligence Agencies are frightened that if the U.K., the Europeans and Asean Countries are using HuaWei equipment and 5G, they will no longer be able to hack confidential messages and phone calls with the UK and European Prime Ministers as they have been caught doing in the past!

So you can not detect covid 19 during the incubation period?
The Abott lab 15min tests, they are using in the White House, have a failure rate of 15 to 25%. You can detect during the incubation period but they are only testing once in 24 hours if a daily test is done. There are German fast tests which have 99% accuracy but Trump prefers American tests.

In the begining it was Lotus owned by CP which got into financial difficulties in the 1997 financial crisis and CP sold most, but not all of its' shares to Tesco. The new company was called Tesco-Lotus with CP retaining a small share. Later stores were mainly branded as Tesco and Tesco Express. All that has happened is that CP has bought back its shares from its' partner.

For instance, chlorinated chicken, asbestos in baby powder (Johnson & Johnson). Monsanto: Agent Orange, Dioxin, Polychlorinated bibhenyls(PCBs), Alachor, Roundup, Penncap-M and Dicamba. Across a span of cosmetics, including makeup, toothpaste and shampoo, to items ranging from household cleaners to fruit juice to cheese, hundreds of potentially harmful ingredients banned in the EU are legally allowed in the US.

Good decision by Anutin not to bow down to Trump over his threat to end the Generalised System of Preferences for Thai Seafood if Thailand did not Kow Tow (bow down) to President Trump and accept these harmful chemicals already banned in 20 Countries. The U.K. is currently being blackmailed in to accepting chlorine washed chickens and other banned chemicals used in U.S. food processing.
