Well, thanks, its a bit of comfort that somewhere is a tad worse than pattaya

You are right, an incorrect wit, but it would be possible to use falang sam toa,
as in 3 falang animals, and use toa as classifier
ผมมีเพื่อนสามคน หรือ สามตัว
-
The answer is that ill mannered tourists brought the tip bitching here.
-
I suspect he was referring to the classifier ai (for falang male)
-
I'm convinced tipping leads/contributes to a depraved & corrupt society,
not much of a difference between a crook demanding tea money at a road stop
and a waitress demanding whiskey for mama money at a bar

It's good to see
France brought freedom & democracy to USA,
as for bad manners & tips, take them back with you to hollywood, and stay there
An Expedia poll from 2009 found that the French are the worst behaved travelers, being bad tippers, cheap, rude and averse to foreign languages.
Thanks, here's another quote from that site
(The worst offenders in both those categories were — wait for it — Americans, who were also designated most likely to complain.)I can confirm even thai prostitutes don't bitch as much as americans,
and TV prove they can't keep it to them-self online either.
Agree french have poor education, at least when it comes to languages,
but americans are equally unimpressive

I never tried indian food but would like to.

I just asked, he said they make a new one for 250 baht,

Or you can just buy a 9000 baht scooter and go from there.
It doesnt dig a hole in your pocket so you can still buy another bike if you really, really want to,
it's convenient to have a backup bike anyway
-
The shifting is already in your blood. (it takes you 20 min to have it all working)
I hadnt driven a moped for longer than that when i came to thailand.
The catch was the scooter that has all shifts down,
instead of the usual one down-rest up,
took me a while to figure out that'un.

Thanks for the heads up,
i will ask tomorrow what happens if i lose it

Bpoo is by far the best when it comes to explaining,
she also gives feedback in the form of homework, and tailor make that homework for the student.
And luckily for you, she also charges less since she cant make ED visa at the moment.

I suggest trying out trial at a few places so you know the deal

It's difficult to advice,
on the one hand, a simple scooter is hand-made for commuting in the traffic misery of BKK, and cheaper to buy, drive, and crash with.
OTOH you definitely give the impression of wanting an experience, (like a racer bike)
and it would be great if you can enjoy driving bike.
But for me, there's no way i will enjoy driving in either BKK or Pattaya,
traffic jam & hazards are too great for that,
and then to top it off the police crooks routinely makes false allegations in order
to extort money for various "offenses", even if the law itself contradict what they claim is law

Same here, and get disconnected every few minutes, for the last couple of weeks.
There might be hope the world will end on dec 21

I think you both missed out that it is a lady, Susan Schwaiger,
and we appear to have similar values
-
On another note: it's a lot A LOT more fun single,
if you can handle the partying
-
Americans aren't required to prove income,
a 'scouts honor' does the trick.
So you can get the cheapest and easiest visa of them all, retirement visa.
-
Yes, you can also turn from pattaya tai into the little soi that is opposite the entrance to BigC,
i think it is called soi 2 but not sure.
When you drive down you will see the gigantic Batman building, and her school is just to the right of it.
When you see the building you can either drive to left and around, or take the short cut straight over the batman parking lot.
ed: and it is also possible to drive a backward soi from soi bongkot,
but cant explain that one really, only rode that road twice in my life
-
Drive until you hit pattaya tai, then turn to sukumvit, get out on sukumvit and turn left,
now driving on sukumvit you will pass a gas station, and another 150 meters you will see
soi 46/3 on your left hand, same side as the gas station.
Turn into soi 46/3 and drive until you see SSschool, perhaps also 150 meters,
and also on left hand

Bpoo is easily the most competent teacher in Pattaya,
according to myself & everyone else that studied for her. (and we tried all major schools collectively)
The catch is that she can't do the ED visa as of now, but that also means she charges less.

Dis the crotch rockets, we are same size and i cant bend my foot enough to shift gear on those suckers.
Get a chopper, a Japanese brand

I refer to myself as papa in third person,
like 'come to papa'

I was more thinking of the traffic jam that confines me to my room,
at all time. i wish i wasnt here
