1. Thai women really dislike men who smoke. This can be a deal-breaker.

The EU, Australia/NZ, Canada, & Japan entered into a social contract with their populations. In return for higher taxes, the state would provide basic social services. That might explain why the stakeholders in those countries have concerns.
