There was very little testing being done and thats why the numbers were low but not zero .

Australia has locked down the country again with no entry for anyone with just over 100 new cases daily and Thailand with now over 11,000 new daily cases is opening up to tourists you have to wonder what the mentality of this Government is .

According to Admiral Chettha Jaipiam, a spokesperson for the RTN, the purchase is part of the “duty” of the Royal Thai Navy to protect the country.
Protect the country from who LOL the only ones stupid enough would be the Chinese and that's who you are probably buying them from so yet another waste of money like the space program instead of looking after the citizens affected by the Pandemic .

Not much point in using them if there not good enough to show . Maybe just another money making machine that's not much good for anything other than a home test which could show false positives or vice versa .

3 minutes ago, webfact said:So, how did Thailand get to this point after doing so well to contain the first wave last year?
Limited testing from the beginning and not importing a good vaccines (not Sinovac) is IMO the reason Thailand is up the creek along with the backward thinking of wait and see from the PM and DPM .

Its at the guests expensive that why they are there so being fully vaccinated means nothing compared to the extra money that will be made .

Another reason to never go there for me anyway , Phuket has always been known as a rip off place where most foreigners have to pay a lot more for everything and this comes from people i know who have been and will never go back .

This might be enough incentive for Thai but would never entice me there .

Why would anyone want to go there under these conditions , its no wonder there are so many cancellations .
