I have just received a repy to my email from the Consulate here in Brisbane, appers it is only a matter of going in and waiting while they process it the on the way, thanks for the helpful replies........

Hi All, I rang the consulate Tues last to ask if a single entery tourist visa is issued in 1 day or how long it takes, not much help all i could get is "bring passport 2 photo and $45.00" ha ha, yes i know that but how long does it take to be issued, aii i could get is bring passport etc etc. has anyone any idea of the time frame please, is it 1 day, a couple of days??

Morch, as i don`t live in los i can`t help with a hospital, LOOK for a hospital that specialises in heart surgery, i had a pacemaker ( implantable cardiac device) after byepass surgery 3 years ago and have had no probs at all, i am in Aus and was done at the Prince Charles here in Bris, good luck to the old man mate and tell mum to look out for a new man when he recovers,lol

at least they told me when i asked if it was ok, no you have to buy it at the other end if travelling to Aus, which was BNE for me

percussion windmills are easy to convert, in Oss a lot of the blokes in the bush have put on a single cylinder diesel with a pully and belt (old timers wide leather strap) just start the moter for however long to fill the stock water tanks and all done....

We've used Mr. T many times, as have many other members on TV. I think the rate is 1100B or so from the airport to Central Pattaya. His driver meets you at a designated place with a placard that has your name on it. Great service. I will PM you his email address.

We prefer this to taking a chance with one of the taxis from the stand there.
