  1. I have taken this train several times but years ago it is not really a big deal to miss it, the service has deteriorated and the possibility of track washout in July is very good. Save your self 12 to 14 hours of loud noise from the tracks and the coupling devices fly and be there in 1 hour and enjoy Chiang Mai and the area.

agree i travelled first class ...at night u cant even sightsee ...just darkness ...the toilets block after 20 mins food was inedible ...cockroaches .....worst long distance train trip i have ever done ....def take the plane cheers

  2. I got thrown out of Denny's once.

I had bent all the cutlery on the table at 90 degrees, and then complained about the bent cutlery.

Not only did I not receive the Grand Slam Breakfast I had ordered, the Store Manager made me bend all the cutlery back again before I was escorted out.

Childish, I'll admit, but things take on a different perspective of funny when you are drunk and stupid at 3am.

yeah mate real funny u deserved a smack in the mouth as well ...not joking ....clowns like u ..well ...remind me of the turds that put sugar in the salt and vice versa ...martin bryant was kicked out of the kookaburra cafe because of that ...and came back a week later and massacred 33 people ....good on maccas for ejecting non paying customers or seat occupiers ...bottom line ...these r businesses....

  3. Stealing family pets is just too scummy for words.

    Bastards.

yes i dont like that ......BUT i hope they pick up all the strays in the sois ...they r getting uncontrollable and its amazing how many people r getting bit every day ..the average thai refuses to take responsibility for their animals ...the sheer numbers r getting out of hand ...

  4. As an Australian living in Thailand, I am not only disgusted, but ashamed to hear about this coming from Australians. Those sick people should stay in Australian prisons, and never come out, especially not be able to come into Thailand. Idiots anyway if they believe they could get in with their criminal record.

ditto ...lock the scoooooom away for life ....kids from ALL countries deserve to be protected

  5. missing money was a big thing 10 to 12 years back in the philippines ...it turned out to be inside jobs ....very well organised and random selection ....the biggest headache was the attitude of the staff at the banks ...dismissive and could not give a flying fxxk ...best to get the online phone message as soon as a withdrawal is made ....was in patts at the mall once and the atm took this guys card ...he had funds just a mal function ...it took him TWO WEEKS to sort it out ...

  6. Casa Pascal is the best of all names given. And they have real butter croissant. But the chairs are not BBM friendly. All of them with armrest.

Another great one and BBM friendly is Hotel Denmark in soi White house at Jomtien for 160. Bakery is little lower quality/taste but the rest far far superior to Casa Pascal.

Irish Rover cheap full English breakfast one plate for 99. Not very comfortable chairs for BBM

    BBM= Big Beautiful Man

Probably intentional to keep the fatties out...I mean, the goal is to actually make a little profit on the meal and that's hard to do when folks go back and pile high their plates 4-5 times.

very true ...some people this is their only meal of the day ...an old guy told me ....go to the apex or lek twenty mins before it closes and its a brunch ..same for the diana ......i have seen guys go 5 .6 times to refill their plates

  7. they should put a bounty on the vermin ...that way locals would put their dogs in and the rest rounded up and exterminated ...ohhh i hear the hand wringers ....no im not a nazi ...just a soi dog hater cheers

  8. similar happened to a good mate of mine ...he took my advice and paid a local 1500 baht to kill the mutt ...in your case the farang is obviously an arrogant c ....dogs r a real problem here in thailand and their dopey owners cheers

  9. Bottom line is...just like many 3rd world countries, don't ever bring in anything valuable. Leave it athome and use plastic whenever possible.

I lived there 5 years after having been on vaca many times.

Was ripped off more times than I care to remember. Anybody that tells you any different is pulling your whatever.

Thieving is a way of life for these folks and the continuous inventiveness of the crims will always beone jump ahead of the corrupt authorities.

    Welcome to the jungle.

sadly .....very true ...very adaptable ...like a savvy businessman ...always one step ahead ..

  10. He is dog-scheit scumbag coward I wipe my arse with the pages of his Gazette interview.

Anyone who disagrees with me can feel free to "unfriend" me.

    You have friends?

    He has me. thumbsup.gif

and me also ...this bloke is worthless ...well known standover ...who used to pick his targets ...got flogged and couldnt handle it ...two night before he belted a guy at least 20 years older than him with a gimpy leg ...hope he rots in jail ..no sympathy
