I've paid for an international school education for my son and I have to say I don't regret a single Baht I spent on it when I compare the outcome to kids his age from standard Thai schools. He's grown into a well-rounded personality and it's due to the education he received and the environment he has grown up in. Parents may underestimate the impact school, and the social environment which comes with it, will have on their kids here in this country.

I just arrived in CM by train from Bangkok. Registered in CM-CHANA prior to departure. Upon arrival everyone was asked to register in CM-CHANA and was funneled to a desk for identity checks. Most people were told to undergo a COVID swab test and wait 20 minutes for the result. When it was my turn, the official asked for my mobile number, checked a list, found the number, put a pink sticker on me and told me that I can leave. I was very confused why I wasn't subjected to the test. I have no clue why, but I was somehow already in the system. But I was never tested before. I'm officially registered in BKK, but I provided an address of a private residence (no hotel) in CM.

Nice evidence of the state of the Thai education system and prevailing gender stereotype thinking of the general population...

The cures are there, old and inexpensive... Interesting. Where's the evidence for that I wonder? Must have bypassed me.
