All my previous issues with razor burn and ingrowing hairs stopped when I ditched multi-blade razors.

I'm shaving with a old school double sided safety razor and using "Rapira Platinum Lux" blades (mail order from Russia on eBay).

The wrapper design looks USSR, but they are consistently sharp, and I find them better than Astra platinum blades.

I use each blade once before disposal.

As a brit with visa-free entry to the USA, I wondered if I could go to the USA,

If you invested it, and was lucky enough to buy a 10% yield, then a frugal person could live out the rest of their days on 3 M baht.

In the UK I have a Whirlpool Microwave with convection oven. It's one of the higher-spec JetChef ovens with a pull down (front loading) door as oppose to side opening (swing open) door. Panasonic also do these front loaders and they have built-in inverters for better microwaving.

One of the things to look for when buying is to see how high a temperature the convection oven can actually reach. Look for at least 200 deg C with the better ones being able to go upto 220 deg C.

These appliances are able to function as pure convection ovens without any aid from the grill or microwave.

I can cook cakes, biscuits, roasts, etc., in my JetChef oven and the results truly are "oven cooked" and I'm very happy with this appliance.

Within Thailand I'd look at the Panasonic ones with built-in inverters and stainless steel clad interiors.

Backup: Yes it would be safer to do that before you start making any major changes to Windows.

What's wrong with the system that you need to restore ?

I think I know what caused the machine to act like its memory's too low. It showed genuine in the beginning and I guess an update found out that the program isn't genuine.

I'm not sure if non-genuine Windows would be the reason for it to run slower.

If you have a spare slot for RAM you could double the memory for about B650 .

If you do a restore from the BIOS (safe mode) you might lose recent documents.

Do you have backups of your files ?

Perhaps you could perform a non-destructive reinstall of Windows ?

You're in a better posistion if you have Windows DVD and another computer at hand.

Make a note of the numbers on the other meters and see what happens in 24 hours time...

Does the air-con have a badge or plate ?

For example: A 1000 watt appliance, when used for 1 hour, should increment the meter by "1".

RE OP; Perhaps the antenna could be repositioned ?

If the antenna is orientated vertically - the signal spreads outs horizontally.

So if the antenna is pointing "towards" the cottage, it would need moving 90deg (anti)clockwise, or ideally the antenna is pointing upwards to provide a wide range of coverage at the floor level the unit is serving.

CAT premium on cable or fibre. The most transparent and robust line available and I've had the chance to try CAT, TRUE Cable and 3BB (served via a TTT line?) --all at the same time to compare connecting to I.B and CME based brokers.

CAT via DSL is robust too. TRUE Cable goes out in storms because the boxes on the street that feed the internet part don't have battery back ups (in pattaya). Make sure you have a UPS for all your kit including modem. Earthing is a good idea too.
