i can vouch for this......when i was in my wifes village in Isaan, it seemed that many of their lives revolved around it..... alot of the family problems were caused by this too

I would say the best ones are the ones who do not come to Thailand to exploit people then go and tell all their mates in the Pub back home how easy Thai women are, and what great guys they are.

You can register the bike with just a 30 day entry stamp now. The old rules of a Non-Immigrant visa have changed'

I firmly believe that all of us here would agree that child prostitution in any form is a social ill that needs to be controlled and eradicated as much as possible.  I think there is no argument there.

Depends on the Character of the person you meet, a dishonest person is just that, the country of their birth is niether here nor there.

My friend ( so I thought) borrowed 60,000 baht off of me and never paid back 1 Baht and did a runner, I later found out that he had ripped off many other so called friends in Bangkok.

He is English, does that make all people from England dishonest ?

Bad enough that they answer the mobile during the movie. I'll never forget watching "Saving Private Ryan" in Manila when people all around me would call their friends during the movie and give them a running commentary.........

Can't do that In Japan, the cinemas have a system for cutting out the signal to mobiles when in the theatre, good idea.

My friend came over to Japan, she is Thai and got the visa without any problem.
