Back in the '70s, there was room. Nowadays you have to be a midget, a contortionist or real horny to get your groove on in a normal family car. -

Kennedy Ousts CDC Advisory Panel in Controversial Shakeup
impulse replied to Social Media's topic in World News
If you accept that US citizens are his customers, and his customers have lost faith in the team and what it says, it's time for a new team. Citizens are expressing their lack of confidence with their feet and with their healthcare decisions. They need to rebuild their credibility. -
I ate recently at one of those Japanese hot pot restaurants where they only had a Thai online menu. Had I not been in the company of a Thai, I'd have had to walk out. Then they only took digital payments so I had to give my Thai friend the cash and she paid the bill. Being a tourist, I don't use Thai QR payments.

The ones that are really fun are those restaurants with only Thai on their online ordering app. And, they only take digital money. Then they wonder why they're not as busy as they used to be...

I hope it wasn't a rental. Those potato chip looking spots are hard to get out of the upholstery. -
The only fatalities on Jan6 were 2 protesters. One beaten to death and the other one shot. Both by cops. Who weren't prosecuted. That was after Trump encouraged voters to peacefully and patriotically march over and be heard. To protest election irregularities pointed out by Ken Paxton and supported with amicus briefs by 17 other states and over 150 congressmen.

California is amazing for those who bought in back in the '70s and '80s when property was affordable. When I got there in '95, several of my coworkers were living in nice homes they bought for $75-100K, that were worth over $350K just a few years later. Edit: Huntington Beach, BTW. Loved it there. Just couldn't afford to stay. Recently, there's been an exodus in the middle, being replaced by illegals and the homeless. Which doesn't bode well for anyone but the uber rich and the ones on the gub'ment dole. And even the uber-rich are looking elsewhere.

It seems like the LAPD chief agrees with him. LA’s top cop blames masked professional ‘anarchists’ for chaos at ICE protests and vows slew of arrests Give the FBI a little time. They'll figure out who paid for the cases of UVEX Bionic Face Shields that were delivered by pickup to the middle of the kerfuffle.

Gosh.... And I got called out for suggesting that some of the agitators were paid shills. (Something along the lines of of "post evidence or piss off... Which I thought was pretty rude) Gotta kind of wonder who's paying when they have trucks delivering cases of Uvex Bionic Face Shields to the middle of the scrum.

You're confusing biggest with strongest. California's economy is huge by accidents of geography and geology. But it certainly isn't strong. They're teetering on the edge of catastrophe. Because of bad policies.
