  1. Just now, cheeryble said:

Out of interest what was the diagnosis, when operated, and what was the result?

rotator cuff tear both shoulders and result was that it went better. Took a long time to heal, but that was probably because of age. When you are in the 20s healing is faster than in late 40s. Dr. Mason was actually good, he is a shoulder specialist.

  2. I am jealous, when I lived for a few years in Bkk until 2015 I had a 50/20 True connection (which they did not offer any more later on) I paid about 2,799 Baht, and it was ok, a couple of times there were issues but in general it was ok. Then in July 2015 moved to Kenya, Nairobi and I had for a year a 50/10 connection with ZUKU, man that sucked, internationally I had about 90% of the times a speed from good old modem times, below 54kb/s. After a year I moved to FAIBA, they only offer 15/15 as their fastest connection and I would say 80% of the time it is ok-ish, but - BUT here comes the BUT its extremely pricey. While Zuku cost about 4000 Baht, Faiba costs 6000 Baht a month. So I am really jealous of you guys in LOS, I wish I would have that options and prices over here.

  3. Here are the GPS coordinates: N 12º48'40", E 101º05'51"

PP is right closer to Rayong

There is no water in dry season, basically its a forest adventure camp with lots and lots of rides, best book ahead of time, had fun there watching groups of people taking the rides

But if you are looking for a waterfall in that area go to the following place:

    Khao Chamao-Khao Wonc National Park

  4. You wrote, you love her and she loves you??? Wake up pal, she does not love you, she just loves your money. What the hell came to your mind sending that huge amount of money monthly and some extra once in a while????? Do you actually know the salaries over here?

You have met her for 2 weeks plus another couple of days where she has blown your brain out of your head that you send that huge amount monthly.

People like you are responsible for the situation like what we have in LOS right now where most girls have 3-5 sponsers sending those ridiculous amounts.

If I were you I would run run run!!!

    And stop paying anything!!!

  5. Its actually simple. Thais always want to show that they look richer then they are. Fact is that the heavilly tatooed woman was probably a working girl who finally found her pay slave. She doesnt care about the guy. The only thing she cares is the jewellery who (she thinks) make her look as she is a rich and"good" girl so she shows it off to anyone around.

How different are Thais to for example Pinays, here in LOS all Thais always dress up like they were going to the one time a year event. Hairs are done in whatever style, dresses and shoes are the finest, make-up etc. Especially poorer girls f.e. from Isaan and other areas are showing off.

While in the Philippines girls are just wearing jeans and shirts in general.

  6. jeroentak, if you have a work permit you can get your Filipino friend here in Thailand.

Prepare 2 copies each of your:

    1. work permit

    2. bank statement

    3, passport xerox copy

    4. Copies of plane tickets both the coming here and return to Philippines.

    ,

Go to Philippine embassy in Sukhumvit Road Soi 30(?) (but bear with the slowness of their services) and fill up the invitation letter form.

They will provide you a copy of all of all the requirements above with red ribbon seal.

You have to send these things to your friend but be sure that she will receive it before her flight so that she can bring it to show to the immigration officer.

no if working abroad you will be an OFW and therefore need to register with the POEA (philippine overseas employment administration), meaning one to two days of running around, getting papers, paying your OFW fees and getting your exit clearance. And of course you need to get a Visa from the Thai Embassy first. This need to be requested from the Thai Ministry which will send a reference number to the Thai Embassy in Makati, then the OFW needs to go there and get the visa. 2-5 days for this.

If leaving the country as OFW there will be no issue whatsoever. Also paying your fees as OFW included the Travel Tax. So OFW do not pay the 1600 Pesos travel tax at the airport.

CFO seminar is ONLY needed when getting married not for tourists and not for OFW.
