  1. Hi sorry if this is the incorrect forum please move if it is.

Registered with this site intervac.com ok until I try to book an appointment to get a jab.. 'DATE INFORMATION NOT COMPLETED.PLEASE RELOAD AGAIN.

Has anyone else hit this problem and is there a solution?I wondered about reregistering but thought that might cause more confusion.

    Any ideas would be appreciated..

    Khon Kaen shows closed.

So I bet all immigration offices will be closed.

One of the most obscure holidays.

Particularly taking into account that the whole ceremony has been cancelled.

Correct me if I am wrong. Holidays is one of the complicated matters in Thailand.

Voluntary payments of Class 3 NI contributions are handled by the relevant department at HMRC, nothing to do with the DWP. I recall when I set it up 5 years ago that they were by far the slowest link in the chain, and almost seemed to try and stop you from getting any useful information. I set up payments by monthly direct debit, and so far that seems to have gone smoothly. I'd suggest you contact the people in HMRC who set up the payments for you.

I might do that thanks..the service is poor by any standard.

    Very similar.

I made a contribution beginning of January.

I called them and they said due to covid, they suggest I recheck my account end of March.

Thanks for the info.I suspected that was the reason.Just suppose something had gone wrong with the payment it would be months later before you would know.Very poor service.

As below just had a reply myself took over a month, I guess messages get pushed around dept to dept and there in a mess because of covid..

Don't know for sure if IPC would be dealing with NI contributions I doubt it.

I would still try to get through to IPC if I were you I have phoned them many times always around 5 pm Thailand time and got through OK.

  6. Hi,In recent times I have started making voluntary class 3 contributions to boost my UK old age pension which is due next year.I made 2 payments 1 in 2019 another in 2020 which showed up as paid on my personal tax account inside a month. However my 3rd payment made by bank transfer on Jan 4th 2021 is not showing as paid over 5 weeks later.A message to the International pension centre which might be the be the right place admittedly to inquire on Feb. 2nd is still unanswered.I suspect the delay might be covid related but as quite a large sum is involved at least for me I would like some peace of mind all is in order.I once tried to phone them in 2019 and I was kept on hold till my credit ran out so was hoping not to have to do that again.Short of writing a letter which will be very slow is there any way I can find out what is happening?Thanks..

What is the value of putting "foreigner" in the title ? meaning if Thai then it's no news or less worse ?

This way you create racism, or mark all foreigner as drunk drivers.

No line in the article that the Thais maybe could survived the accident if they wear a helmet ?

Don't understand me wrong, what happened is bad/sad, but the article should not have a smell of bad farang kill good Thai. This brings no value.

And how do we get from foreigner to 'farang' which means Westerner or 'expat' which is self explanatory as some posters have done?

  8. Hi guys

I'm currently putting together my application to renew a British passport and I have 2 small questions..firstly do I have to remove all the paperwork stapled in my passport by immigration before colour photocopying it and on the bank instruction do I need to check with a UK bank to see if my debit card is valid for an international transaction?I think in that case it would be a UK transaction but not sure.

    Thanks in advance.

There is a much simpler way not sure why you have not done this already. Just log-on to the Government Portal and under pensions you find all your detailed pension infos covering your whole working life in the UK. Employment and periods of no contributions made. If you have a NI number you will find all you need to know.

It may also be worth your while to top-up your pension contributions to the full 35 years

Will that list dates when you started and finished particular jobs and when you claimed benefits or just list when you made NI contributions. The latter doesn't help when it comes to trying to remember where and for how long you worked at a particular job maybe over 40 years ago which the form requires.

I think that using either address will end up in the same place, namely VSF Help Desk, as the only difference being the capital letters for HMPO in the middle of the address.  I suspect that the address is not case sensitive.

FYI.... the address which I supplied in the earlier post was copied and pasted from the reply email which they sent to me.

    Cheers for your help..
