  1. Here's what the oh-so-polite woman at Jomtien gave me. When I asked for some clarification, she hissed, "Can you read English?" After I supplied all, they then also demanded the landlords (farang) work permit. They also required the official residence certificate (issued at Jomtien immi). THAT required a letter from the juristic office at the condo. When I asked for that at the condo, they said, "Cannot", then 15 seconds later said they could for only 200 THB
  2. My girl and I got creamed on a motorbike on Pattaya Nua. After hospital, all parties met at station at soi 9. Thai guy tried all kinds of excuses (he made a right turn across traffic and hit us)- not his fault, his money in BKK bank, blah blah blah. Cops made him pay for everything including repair of bike. That was ca. 2011
  3. So it basically remains not illegal then? Any actual restrictions on extracts, %, or just the original not pregant />20y.o/can't consume at schools, temples, etc.?
  4. Wrong. The decarboxylation "activates" the THC (turns inactive THCA into active THC). The coconut oil only serves to extract the THC from the plant matter, as it is soluble in oil. If you were interviewing for a position in my lab and said this, you'd be out the door in 10 seconds.
  5. Oops. Seems he missed some studies. "As of the 12th October 2020, there are 37 studies registered in the ClinicalTrials.gov database to evaluate the utility of this repurposed drug to fight against COVID-1916." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8747778/
  6. If you make the left onto Pattaya Tai from Beach Rd, there's a new place on the right just before you hit the light. "Budtender" is the name.
  7. 7 year old doesn't know how to open a car door? Fishy?
  8. What is the current law/view of foreigners growing weed? Same as Thai, 15 plants? Also, I read that registration was "encouraged", which to me means not required. Has there been any official clarity on this?
  9. Update 20 August: they contacted me through Line today. Apologised for the difficulties and promised a quick resolve. Update 2: They just delivered to my condo in PTY. Substituted Laughing Buddha for Cookies & Cream. They added an extra 2g. I apparently was caught in a no-mans-land when they switched from online Web ordering to Line ordering. Very Very satisfied!
  10. Works great for me. I take 6-20mg at a time, shortly before bed. Sleep well, great dreams and better recollection of same. I use Olly or Natrol chewable gummies. Natrol slightly better taste. Purchased on Lazada.
  11. Update 20 August: they contacted me through Line today. Apologised for the difficulties and promised a quick resolve.
  12. I tried a test purchase of a few grams from these folk. Confirmed by email, transaction number, yada yada. That was 12 days ago. No product, no response to 2 emails, website is broken on both Chrome and Opera. Anybody else have any dealings with these people?
  13. You a critical thinker? Don't check your "facts"? https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/senomyx-flavor-additive/
  14. I also want to get the medical cert, cuz it seems that's the only clearly, completely legal avenue right now. Always nice to have paperwork in a shakedown. I'm going to check some clinics here, perhaps also Pattaya General Hospital.
  15. Can confirm that they are still issuing 60 day "COVID" extensions
  16. Is PTY immi still giving extensions beyond the usual 60 day max? I entered visa waiver and extended once for 30 days. Can I do another 30 days?
  17. What does this mean: "The court also ruled that the former prime minister was not regarded as an earner of taxable income according to the law, hence, the department’s tax assessment for the payment of 17 billion baht in back taxes and interest was unlawful and ordered tax appraisal to be withdrawn by the department." Also, no money actually has left the Shin's hands, has it?
  18. Do you really think the US will be watching Thailand to decide on a course of action? Starting 26 years ago, ganja was decriminalized or legalized in California, Oregon, Alaska, Washington, Nevada, Colorado, Maine, Hawaii, Montana, Maryland, Vermont, Michigan, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, Delaware, Utah, Connecticut, Alabama, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Tennessee, Iowa, South Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, Illinois, West Virginia, Indiana, Kansas, North Dakota, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Northern Mariana Islands? Sure, US will be watching Thailand. For sure, not enough data over the last 26 years. ????
