having trouble with bank and they gave me a number to ring them on . but was told to go via international operator and tell then to reverse the change to  the number the  bank gave me.  but cant seem to get to the international operator to even start with .. from TOT line thailand  bank in UK

so we are saying the people who use agents don't have to do a 90 day stamp ????? so in effect they have a 1 year extension  with no rules.

I'm aware that some immigration offices asked people to submit a TM28 to them, but this was never an official requirement, just something the immigration office made up. If you didn't do it they also didn't fine you, just asked you to do it while you were there.

Maybe the offices who wants such a paper will just continue to use the TM28, or maybe they use the TM27 form, or maybe they will write their own form for this purpose.

is this fact ? or have you just got away with not paying a fine  ? if the landlord don't do it you will/could  get a fine . so do it yourself tm30 is still there .... but as it seems yes no reporting for us to do but if landlord dont do it and IO try to get you to.pay   will you argue ? either way it seems we still need a slip in the passport stating out address yes or no ?

would be good to here from people who have been fined ....for not changing the date ...via a tm30 or tm28 , or what ever . may be would convince people more. and not the people who keep saying im bigger then immigration and dont do it and seem to get away with it lucky them ... i nearly got caught out but had to creep to not paying afine ,, pattaya

as long as they don't check you entry stamp from uk. as  they will then know you been out and in. so have to redue tm30 or was tm 28  as the dates don't thai up  or get a fine 

yes but still need slip in passport saying address, so now you have to have a TM30 instead.......

but who gets the fine if the is not an up to date tm30 ?  as i it seems to me there has to be a TM30 slip in passport .and the tm30 still states if you stay in a hotel etc you have to renew it ... is this correct . so the same dame form as i can see ... as i know the landlaord should do it ,but they wont will they//// everytime you move around ,,,,

well sorry but it seems it does .. as if you don't now do a tm28 you will have to do a tm30 .. or someone will . to get a date stamped slip of paper with your address on it  in your passport ...

it sounds to me the tm30 is still in use ... so be careful  as  what if the landlord dont reg you ?????....  so i take it the landlord only has to do it once and thats it ????

The TM28 form is for foreigners to report themselves to Immigration after staying away from their registered address for more than 24 hours, as required under Section 37 (c) of the same act. “The TM30 is the house owner's responsibility, whether the home owner is a Thai or a foreigner,

so we still need to fill in the tm30 yes or no ?  i have always filled in the tm30 NOT the tm 28 ......  i rent a house .. so you saying i don't need to do nothing now every time i go back UK and return to my same address? i'm on retirement extension  

the bank book next time around will show if funds have stayed within the limits .. but the extension is granted with rules . so may be we could have it taken away if not stuck to the rules .. but how come some people don't have any funds at all .. how do they get a 90 day  showing funds ? think the funds are agood idea means always got a back up for  a major operation ..  then get a flight home ..

same desk when you collected your passport from when its was ready to collect with new extension in. there was a sign there saying show funds here last time

yes did mine on the 20th Jan and they gave me a letter telling me i had to bring this letter back on the 20 april with proff of funds still in my bank .the letter is stamped with the two dates 20th jan and the 20th april

If in Pattaya I opened mine (Kasikorn) at the Big C North and opened a Internet account on same day.

They used to send pin and passwords via my Yahoo account but now do it to a thai mobile.

Only way around this would to have a thai sim with gobal roaming on it with enough credit to recieve

the pins which are required for most things you do vai the internet.

If you can do this and can put up with the hassle of pins via mobile give it a go.

I have used my Card while in Oz to take money out as well.

Drop into your nearest Kasikorn or phone them and see if thay can help out.
