yes easy to get a Fcd  account . went to kasikorn . bank ,pattaya  but does anyone know if you can see this on account somehow on online banking ?   i can see and use my normal bank account online easy .. i thought this account could be tagged onto the normal one . 

ok whats the best account to put money in for interest .? and also can update bank book in machine ? as i said mine is a FCD account .. Foreign Currency Deposit Account can not be updated  by machine . and only get interest 2 times a year .  june and dec .so no good for my extension unless i put more money in no more then 3 days before my extension application . but at least you don't lose money on exchange rates  always stays in bank in £ s 

Yes all this is a pain. I have my money in a fcd account and I have to put money in to update book and it cost me. Min £12 fee. as the money has to be in UK pounds. And I still have go pay the 100 b fee for a bank letter and all this has to be less then 3 days old. So can't even transfer Money not enough time so has to be cash in pounds 

so if get pension and de-cleared you live abroad and pension money sent over to a thai bank you cant return to UK for med treatment if needed ? .. so may be risky to stir up a honest nest ???

I agree with most posts have to file tm30 every time. But I can't understand why this information is on Thai immigration gov sites then all would be clear. Instead of here say. Also how is this done on line. I have done 90day report on line OK but is this the Same site 

want to Convert 12 month retirement non 0 visa extension  to a marriage visa.  when the best time to do this ? is it simple ? .or will i have to start again what extra information would i need? would i have to wait till the retirement extension needs to be renewed? or best to do any time ?

hi i know the UK embassy no longer issue UK state pension statement letters.  to show how much we get . but there must be another way of getting this information .. i do have a old letter saying how much i get .. but surely there must be away of getting an up to date statement for immigration . or will a letter from 4 years a go .   trying to  get visa based  on UK statement money ....   also i hear whatever money i get, it does not go up with inflation like if i lived in the UK ? is this correct?

So what wha they mean is don't know reg number as it don't have one durrr. Why can't the police see that having a reg plate is a good idea? Durrr so many cars and bikes without plates why.?and don't say its a new car. Lol 

Sounds like this rules a good idea. Would protect falang with wife... But this could be right as I was told a falang can own the house but not the land. Admit if the lady wanted to sell the land the house would be worthless unless its a Thai house that can be moved 

Yep same happened to me. They said they would transfer funds to my bank but never did but mine was only a few hundred bhat so left it however they do give you a choice to refund to wallet or bank. But don't tell you you can't get money out of wallet. I found out by was going to top up wallet they then said foreigner can't use wallet 

Would say they let you die.problem solved. Then burn you. Or may be not burning cost money 

My report online has worked every time so far but I don't see a place to submit proff of funds in Thai bank. So can't see it working from now on 

as i used to get letter from embassy and they only needed to show an INCOME of B65,000 as they wern't concerned how much i had to pay out >> this worked fine ,,, 

But now it sounds like i could transfer 800,000 in one go and live of of that for 9 months and then top it up 3 months before my extension is due ..?????

as if i transfer 65,000 monthly i would have to pay a 12 lots lot of bank charges >>>>

so  Jakco you are saying all I have to do is transfer B65,000 a month , from my UK bank account to my Thia bank account  at least 3 month before the aplication??? sounds good ? 

Retirement visa documents required ? I am 61 years old ,not on a pension . But do have income from rental income of more the B800,000

I have just managed to do my last  retirement visa  on the old system ..where i had to get a letter from the embassy ,  showing I had enough income going into my UK bank account .. As they have now stopped issuing this letter . from 1st Jan 2019  (was valid for 3 month use) 

I believe now ,The only way for me >>>> is to have a Thai bank account showing that i have more then 800,000 .for more then 3 month prior to the application . 

So do i just copy of Thai bank book? 

would i need to get a letter from the Thai bank stating i have this money in my account ? 

or can i just print my Thai bank statements from my laptop for the last 3 months up the the date of the extension of stay .?

I know we are all here temporarily as extensions are given for no more than 1 year at a time but it seems that the inclusion of the words 'home owners and heads of households' give them the opportunity to extend this to private individuals as well although this surely wasn't the original intention. 

it still looks like it could mean if you fill in the arrival tm6 card correctly you dont need to fill in a TM30 !!!!!!! is this true ????

think every thing on the internet about this TM30) form  should be deleted . and the government tell us fresh information covering all possibilities. .

if a falang person owns his house via a company . and his falang girlfriend comes and stay at this house , Does the falang owner have to fill in a TM30 form for Himself  and his girl friend ????? if not him who  does ? 

if i renew my retirement visa (extension of stay)before old one runs out does it run from new date.?

my 90 day reporting will be on 14th Jan 2017 .  my retirement 1 year visa (extension of stay) will be do on 20th Jan 2017 . would i still have to do a 90 day report on the 14th Jan or could i just renew my visa (extension of stay) early say on 12th Jan.?  if i do renew early on the 12th Jan would the visa (extension of stay)run from  from the 12th Jan for 1 year ? or would it still run from 20th Jan for one year ?

hello i would like to see an up to date banned stamp from entering Thailand. i did post the only one i found on google images but it was from 2010.. and some shot me down and said it is photo shoped. if it has it was not me . funny there are not any new ones on google image

it this what a Banned stamp in passport would look like ? this is 2010. cant find any new ones 2016 be nice to see some, to see what they would look like

fed up with smoke every day from bonfires at this time of the year ,as you all know very hot,where i live lovely strong breeze. but cant leave my windows open due to people around burning stuff. and spoiling air quality .is there anything that can be done ? I live on an housing est but lots of farm land around . other people in the village must be pissed off but i assume they just put up with it . the other night there was hell of a fire people near by were watching it burn it looks out of control to me . i said or should i say tryed to ask if anyone had call fire brigade from there response looked like yes. but no one turned up. I know this is Thailand but are there any rules about bonfires? or would it be if we complain we would just get our house burnt down

But if people are on long overstays and get caught ! then get banned from re- entering Thailand . would they get deported ? if so who pays ? . if its them and they have no money what happens then ? just curious as seems so many people don,t seem to take this seriously
