Thanks for the helpful replies. My wife usually has a good instinct for when animals need help, she's nursed an Owl, a Kingfisher, several Mynah birds, and quite a few others over the years. It flew headlong into our glass front door, and was laid on the floor, until my wife picked it up, before our dogs could get at it. Hopefully it will be OK to be on it's way tomorrow, or the next day!

I've just started watching Hidden Assets, an Irish/Belgian series, seems promising. Also watching 1883, a new cowboy series which is very good, also After Life with Ricky Gervais, not for the easily offended, that one though! For those who don't mind subtitles, I enjoyed Marnow Murders, and Beforeigners.

There must be many others, like me, who have enough money to pay for their healthcare, but object to paying health insurance to companies who fleece their clients, then refuse to pay up, when the time comes. I'd rather spend my money on anything else rather than health insurance.

They did, when Yingluck was in charge, but it was rescinded when the army took over. I believe it was 70 Pounds (can't remember the Baht equivalent), and one had to pass 5 items on a health checklist, all of which were minor, very easy to get and use. Second paragraph added in edit.
