I received money in My Krungthai acct. 3 days ago from Paypal.
It looks like 15 December is D-day. See if you can received money after that.
QuoteConsumer, freelancer or casual seller, entrepreneur or sole proprietor with an account opened before 7 March, 2021: We will be transferring these accounts to PayPal Thailand in December 2022. As part of this process, you will first need to take some actions for your account to be transferred, so you can continue using your account after 15 December, 2022. Please refer to the email we have sent you on or after 11 October, 2022 for guidance.
Until then, you can continue to use your account as usual, including shopping with your PayPal wallet, and to send and receive money with it.- 1

I registered using my Pink ID Card number and went thru without any trouble, easy peasy
You can enter any 13-digit number as your Thai ID number, but the problem will come later when you have to verify that number at the bank before 30 November 2022.

Just received an email from PayPal saying that Thai personal PayPal accounts will be transferred to PayPal Thailand in October 2022. But in order to do so, you must be enrolled in the National Digital ID (NDID) platform for which you need a Thai ID card. So it looks like foreigners will have to give up their Thailand-registered PayPal accounts.

The property tax-calculator HERE might answer your question...????
According to that, no business tax payable.

She owns it individually. I'm asking about the SBT in particular.

My Thai wife has owned a second house for more than 5 years. It is not her principal residence and she has never had her name in the household registration certificate. Will she have to pay Specific Business Tax (3.3%) on the sale of this property? In other words, does the 5-year rule apply for properties that are not your principal residence?
QuoteSpecific Business Tax
Specific Business Tax (SBT) is payable by companies and individuals who have owned the property for less than five years. It is based on the official appraised value or the contracted price, whichever is highest. An individual may be exempt from SBT if they have used the property as their principal residence and have had their name in the household registration certificate for at least one year.(source: phuket net)

Its the DLT appraised value. I believe there are some provisions (or used to be) to transfer within a family, husband to wife, inheritance etc, but not sure how that works
Thanks

I think you will find there is an additional VAT if buying used from a dealer (but included in the sticker price), otherwise its
The transfer cost is based on the estimated amount of the sale value of your car. There’s a 105 baht transfer fee and a stamp duty of 0.005 % of the estimated car price. For example, if the car is estimated at 300,000 baht, the total transfer cost would be 1,605 baht (105+(300000 x 0.005)).
Thanks for that info. Who estimates the sale value of the car? Buyer? Seller? Transport office staff? Is the stamp duty charged even if the car is given to you?

Sales tax/VAT? Transfer of ownership fees?

I added ten digits Kasikorn bank account number in my Thai paypal to withdraw funds. No branch code added.
I have now added a Bangkok Bank account to my PayPal account using just the 10-digit account number and have successfully transferred funds from PayPal to bank account. Thanks.

I'm trying to link a Thai bank account to my PayPal account so I can transfer funds out of PayPal. However, when I try to link the Thai bank account, PayPal asks for a 15-digit account number. Thai bank accounts have only 10 digits and the branch codes are 4 digits which makes only 14 digits. I've tried entering a 14-digit number and PayPal says the account is linked. But then when I try to transfer funds out, a couple of days later PayPal says "withdrawal denied". I've tried linking both Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank accounts to no avail. Has anybody successfully linked a Thai bank account to PayPal and withdrawn funds?

To sort using Thai dictionary alphabetical order in MS Word and Excel, you need to set Window's format to Thai. This is how you do it in Windows 10:
Control Panel > Region > "Formats" tab > Format: Thai (Thailand) > "Apply" button
This setting will also change other things such as the default currency to baht and the date to Thai language and Thai years. So after you have done the sorting, you might want to change back to your previous format setting.

I do my extension based on marriage to a Thai and income from a salary. Normally I submit a PND 91 form showing my income and tax. But this year I got a PND 90 instead. Will this cause a problem at Immigration when I go to do my extension?

Everything they build is poured concrete.
('precast' is a translation error if you use Chrome, it should read 'cast in place')
I live in one and it's very nice, and a reasonable price.
Thanks for that link. Do you happen to know whether they will build on private plots or only on their project sites?

Depends on what type of block you want .. maybe go away for a few hours. Write down what you really want. Have a quick Google for sizes etc then come back.. example .. qcon or superblock for the walls or plain concrete blocks!
I'm considering solid concrete walls (cast in place), not concrete blocks or bricks.
-
If it's just for the look, couldn't you achieve the same effect by staining the plaster and boarding it so it looks like that!
Maybe, but what is the price difference compared to a brick wall? Double? Triple?
What would be the minimum thickness for a non-weight bearing concrete wall?
How is the price normally calculated for concrete walls? By cubic meter?

Thanks for that additional information. Very interesting. I planted mine in a pot and was watering every day, so I will reduce that to once a week as you suggest.
กวักมรกต Kwak as in Nang Kwak, Morakot as in Emerald colour. This plant has glossy leaves.
I have 5 pots of this plant. We Chinese believed it to be fortune plant. I brought 9 leaves from my mom's garden in Malaysia in 2007, she told me to plant them in pot and wait for 8-months. The believes is that if the plant sprout meaning good luck, but if not then just let it be and continue with what ever you are doing with your life.
5 survive and 4 died.
Planting method she taught me was to get a medium pot with soil and compost premix, bury half the leaf upright with leaf stalk downward and wait. It take times to grow a root the size of an egg yolk, while the single leaf will wither and decay. The 7-8 month, if you are lucky... New leaves on a single stem will sprout. Too much water will rot its root during that period, once every 6-7 days will do...make sure pot have drainage holes. Genting Highland Casino in Malaysia has some of the biggest and most beautiful ones I have ever seen in their reception lobby and the cleaning workers wipe every leaf off dust with damp cloth so that the leaves retain their original gloss. My plants leaves are dusty because they are place outdoor. It is an indoor plant require little sunlight little water.
Celebrate !
Flower !
By the way... That is not a plant !

Found it:
Zamioculcas zamiifolia
Zanzibar Gem
กวักมรกต (kwak morakot)
From Africa and grown for its foliage.

Is it some kind of orchid? Wondering whether to throw it away or keep it.

I was looking at the CV of a Thai man and it says he has an honourary doctorate from the American League of Colleges and Universities. A quick google reveals no such organization. Has anyone heard of ALOCU or is it a diploma mill or just a plain deception?
