Any recommendations for external speaker for my android tablet?
Are there any for 500 THB or less?
A rechargeable speaker would be great.
Can be wired, wireless, or bluetooth but do not want to spend more than 500 thb if possible if not then no more than 1,000 thb.

Is your gutter clogged with leaves or something so that it does not drain properly? That would probably be the first thing to check if the"leaking" is near the gutter.
the gutter is clean. Need someone that knows what they are doing to come look at the situation and fix it.

Roof Problems: the main problem is leaking at the roof and gutter area and need a competent repair person near the chiang mai - hang dong road and samoeng intersection area. The roof is the cheap typical roofing sheets that are about 4 foot long but are not steel more like a fiberglass clay mixture?
Hopefully someone knows a competent repair person that has reasonable charges. Thanks

We gave up on finding someone to clean as we found out that people will not clean like we want it cleaned meaning scrubbing everything down that is dirty or grimy until the dirt and grime is gone. We found out that some people think if you sweep a floor, use a scrub brush in some areas, and mop then its clean, even though alot of things are still dirty and grimy like light switches etc.

Chiang Mai Cleaning Company. Used them a few years ago, very good job.
Emailed them before I posted here and they do not do residential houses anymore.
-
I used a company twice after a build. They come down the outside on harness to clean windows etc. a team stays in and cleans every inch. Both houses were over 400 sqm and the cost was 10K should I try to find their contacts inf
Yes please try to find their info.

My Thai neighbor uses a company twice a year for a very thorough cleaning of their very large house. Several people come in a large van with lots of industrial supplies, they do the windows, clean the couches (leave them outside to sun-dry), etc. I believe they charge around 8,500 THB. I posted their contact info in the past when someone had a similar request.
I tried to find your post about this but could not as I could not find a way to search your posts so I went through around 20 pages of your 40+ pages of posts and could not find anything. If you remember or can find this company please let me know. Thanks

Is that one day only, one day per week? its going to take more than one
cleaner to clean a house to the standards i think you are looking for, also
they would not stay long ,if you are really fussy,if its a one off job, look in
tele yellow pages, for cleaning companies, like those that clean the malls
etc, ,if you are looking for a one day a week cleaner expect to pay 500
THB per day,but they are not easy to find, and your location may not help.
regards worgeordie
We are only looking for someone to clean the house one time and it should only take one day to do it as no one is living in the house at this time.

Edit: We are only looking for someone to clean this house one time and it should only take one day as no one is living in the house right now.

Ok the site is not letting me correctly reply to Maderaroja

I have one in Amphoe Doi Saket, Chiang Mai. I am listed on the chanote. It took one visit to the land office and a small payment. They did not need lawyers as they had all of the documentation readily available. The Amphoe office also had the forms on-line for wills and they completed them for me. I had only to sign.
I had been previously quoted as high as ฿100,000 by various "lawyers".
To Maderaroja
Who is the owner of the property?
How many years ago was it registered?
Did the property have a house already built on the property?
Feel free to PM me if you like

My wife wanted to protect me from her family so we got a usufruct after our house was built and I am on the Chanote. We did it our selves and it was very cheap. I’m sure we spent more on fuel getting to the title office and back.
We live outside of Chiang Rai so did the paperwork in Thoeng about seven years ago. I would suspect Chiang Mai should be at least as easy as here. That said I would personally not put too much emphasis on legal protections. There are a million ways for relatives to make life miserable for you if they want you gone from the property. This is not a particularly litigious society, so something to consider. When you say that you are on the Chanote does that mean that you are listed as the usufructuary only?
Or did you also get listed as the owner of the house on the Chanote? If you are did you do this at the same time?

Does anyone have a Usufruct or a Superficies in Chiang Mai?
What Amphere was it registered in?
How many years ago was it registered?
Were there any government cost or other cost involved?
Did you use a lawyer?
What was the lawyer's cost?
Did the property have a house already built on the property?
Have any of you gotten or tried to get it noted on the Chanote that you have bought the house but not the land and were there any cost to do this and did you use a lawyer?
*It has been said on this site and the ask the lawyer section that a foreigner can get it noted on the Chanote/land deed that they own the house on the land/property but not the land/property.
If you have gotten this noted on the land deed/title/chanote did you do this before or after you had the Usufruct or a Superficies?
Thanks for your time and help

If I have led you to believe that I think it is impossible to send out more than is brought out, then I miscommunicated.
I am guessing that there must be a way, and I would love step by step instructions.
My main concern is- I don't want to try something and wind up in a difficult situation with my bank and or the government.
Stockholm-
This I don't understand.
Perhaps you can say it differently?
Using a payment transfer service works very well. They have a local THB bank account and send over it directly to my UK account. Takes only 1 working day. As its for you a local transfer it doesn't matter how high the amount is and no one ask questions.
It's a financial service company based in the UK. They have a service called global local payment transfer. You have to setup a transaction with them very easy by email or phone. You tell them I have to transfer amount x from country a to b. Let's say from Thailand to the USA 500.000 THB. They will provide you a account number in Thailand where you have to send the money to. You send them the payment slip and they send the money directly to the USA account. As you do only a internal transfer in Thailand it's very essay for yourself. And they are dam fast as they have nearly everywhere local accounts so the money is in the USA in one day or sometimes at the same day. The fees are based on the country and the amount I think.

So what is the name of this UK company? Whats the link to their website?

Hello Everyone,
Are there different rules for Blue and Black colored license plates, especially on a pickup truck?
With a blue license plate does it mean that you have to stay in the left lane/left side of the road all the time but with the black color plates you can use any lane?
Thanks

I am comparing these two Toyota engines both with an automatic transmission:
2.7 Gasoline 4 cyl 16 valve DOHC VVT-i
OR 3.0 Diesel 4 cyl 16 valve DOHC VN turbo Intercooler
Which would be most fuel efficient?
Which would cost less to maintain?
Anyone know how many kilometers per a liter these engines will run in a 4 door pickup?
Thanks

Anyone know of any pickup truck modification shops as most of the 2012-2015 trucks are so high off the ground then older models as I would want one lowered to the height of previous models if possible?
Any drawbacks to doing this?

I am trying to figure out what is the average mileage lifespan for toyota & isuzu diesel engines?
I always heard that diesel engines last longer than gasoline engines, is this true?
As usually I would use my gasoline cars to around 200,000 to 225,000 miles = 321,000-360,000 kilometers before I would sell them in the USA.
Thanks for your help and knowledge.

I am trying to figure out which is the best truck on the market for 650K or less, 2015-2011, 4-door, automatic, diesel, but some truck brands have different engines like the Toyota has 2.5 & 3.0 in years 2011-2015 so I do not know which engine is better?
Which brand has:
1. The best quality record?
2. Cheapest maintenance cost?
3. Cheap repair cost, etc?
4. Which brands have to get parts shipped into Thailand to repair their trucks? As I have heard of some people having to wait weeks for their dealer to get parts shipped in to fix their vehicles, which is not good.
5. Which trucks have some get up and go to it when needed?6. Any thing else to look out for?
I do not plan on doing off roading so it does not have to be 4wd.
We are wanting a truck according to the above that has around 80,000 kilometers or less, if one has service records the better, but it must not be color white or black.
I have been looking at taladrod.com, chiangmai2car.com, cm2cars.com, fast2car.com, thaicar.com, bahtsold.com, one2car.com, olx.com, cmusedcar.com, classifieds.thaivisa.com
any other good sites to look at?Thanks so much for your help.

I have seen a Thep brand and a Dok Mai brand coconut oil in 13+ liter metal containers at Makro for 599 baht.
Does anyone know if either of these brands are any good?
Here is a picture of the Thep brand but I cannot find a picture of the Dok Mai brand
