I have always used The Official Government of Cambodia E visa website. Never a problem. Used it almost every year for the last 10 years.

After January 10, anyone who enters Thailand would only be able to do so via the Phuket Sandbox.
So how can I enter via Phuket Sandbox when my flight arrives in Bangkok 12 Jan with hotel, taxi and PCR Tests already paid for Bangkok...
Exactly!!!

I wouldn't say far from it. There have been studies showing a virus with many mutations tend to kill itself off or weaken considerable.

As far as I know there is no connecting flights to Chiang Mai from Bangkok that would allow you to get the test and go there.
At this time the only option is do the the test and go in Bangkok and then get a domestic flight to CM after you get the negative covid 19 RT-PCR test.
Ok thanks for your input.

I am in Cambodia and plan traveling to Chiang Mai. Can I fly from Phnom Penh to CM under the TEST AND GO program? I would have a transfer in Bangkok to get to CM. Landing in and transfer through Suvarnabhumi Airport.

OMG. Insanity. My heart goes out to the Thai people. The incompetent government officials are so out of touch with reality. Dr Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoenchai comments are not only ridiculous but also damaging.

November 1st was officially announced, there was no announcement of entertainment restrictions lifting on December 1st...that's probably why you don't know where you read it. Thaivisa speculators don't count!
Well I remember reading it.

Struth, It’s a night in a hotel. A lot of people (not all) when they arrive after travelling for many hours just want to doss for a night to recharge the battery.
It’s hardly a big deal but I guess if it’s not this it will be something else to have a moan about.
Well it's a big deal for people wanting to just land in BKK and then catch a connecting flight to their destination city. Now one has to spend a night or 2 in hotel and take taxis. The quick antigen tests would be a better idea.

Don’t the private clinics offer vaccines for a couple thousand baht?

I was just checking on the regulations for tourists to enter Thailand and came across the info about tourists needing a COE. Well after reading the process to obtaining a COE and restrictions for entry I am pretty sure Thailand wouldn’t be seeing any tourist for a while.

This makes no sense. I will be fully vaxxed by April but would have to be vaxxed again in 6 months so I can visit for Christmas?

and we don't know how long until a new coronovirus is formed, which could wipe out the world's population
Oh here we go again. Misinformation from the "know nothing know it all's." Do some actual research ( other than social media) like getting up to date world population number and global coronavirus-19 cases. Then do some math to figure out the percentage of people who have had the virus on the planet. Then figure out the death percentage. And stop the fear mongering.

That soi used to be a bit of fun, now all the bars are generic and boring.
Yea you sure got that right about Night Wish Group. They pretty much took the Soi 6 out of Soi 6. I won't drink in their bars.

Srettha will not declare Chiang Mai a disaster zone to protect tourism
in Chiang Mai News

I have been riding all over the north and have noticed very few fires. 90 % of the smoke is coming from Laos and Myanmar. Call it a natural disaster or not it doesn’t matter. Until those two countries start controlling the many fires in their areas nothing is getting better in Thailand. Even though the Thai government is cracking down on the burning in the north it won’t help much.
