With that kind of educational and/or professional background, one wonders what kind of career he can reasonably expect in Thailand, as a foreigner. If any.
He is making money on TikTok.
His real problem will be visa. Won't set in immediately but once he has had multiple border bounces it will.

What about these polyps though?

Not everyone has polyps.
Not all polyps are pre-cancerous.
It usually takes many years for a polyp to (1l develop and (2) then turn cancerous (if it does so at all).
The standard recommendation for screening frequency were developed with great deliberation taking into account risks of both cancer and the endoscopy itself. While coloniscopy risjs are small in.people wirhout special risk factors, the risk is not zero.
You had a single, very very small, polyp which has been removed i.e. you now have no polyps. Unless the path exam shows domething worrisome you will be advised to re-screen in 10 years.

Will a CT/ and or CTV for sure show a tumor? I can do this here with or without insurance and it will not ruin me. However, I also have the option to get it done in home country where any sign of tumor / cancer will be treated quickly and no question about price, our taxes cover that. I have always been skeptic about health and especially "care" when the system is business oriented so I can see for me a long row with test and a nurse standing behind the doctor listing up prices for tests but no secure result for the correct treatment whatever they find.
Thanks
Felt
Yes, a CT woukd show an abdominal tumor.
CTV on the other hand visualizes the blood vessels in the leg. Since the problem is bilateral and ultrasound was negative, as previously mentioned you might defer this, but the abdominal scan should be done as soon as possible.
From the information you provide the doctor has solid reason to suspect (not know, suspect) an abdominal mass or fibrosis impeding return of blood to the heart. I can appreciate that this idea is frightening to you but he is making a sound recommendation.
As for returning to your home country, if it were me I'd have the CT here then go home if it shows anything significant. Because going home at this stage woukd likely mean starting ftom scratch and led to inadvisable delays whereas if you return with CT resukt in hand that shows a mass you will be fast tracked.

Yes, amlodopine and related drugs are notorious for this. But does not sound like he is on any BP meds let along those.

You forgot to mention the salt intake. Don't eat too much salt! Also important to raise your legs, a bit higher than your heart. And last give some soft massage from the bottom up.
Only if this will have no effect you might consider to see a hospital.!!
Given all the other findings, (including anemia, elevated d-dimer) and the severity of the swelling, I very strongly disagree.
Unless there is already a known cause, foot swelling severe enough to prevent putting on of shoes should always be referred to a doctor in any case.
Of course, there are people with known chronic conditions (heart, kidney) whose feet may swell a bit from time to time and this can be managed more conservatively as they are already, presumably, on treatment for the known underlying conditions.
Sudden severe foot swelling such as he reports, of no obvious cause, needs thorough workup. And there are now other worrisome findings as well.
Excessive salt intake is a bad idea but will not cause such marked foot swelling in a healthy person.

Thank you for the recommended Iron supplement. (Is this on the gentle or harsh side of constipation)
Btw, and as mentioned they did a chest x-ray, but no heart, lungs or oxygenation 😕check as far as I know test procedures.
Felt
Heart lung check would be just listening to your chest with a stethoscope. Did they not do that?
Heart failure bad enough to cause ankle swelling would usually show up on chest Xray.

Of course. That is what any normal, civilized person would do -- or just let it go altogether since it was night, they were just sitting on bottom steps facing out to the water and making no movement towards his house. (what I would personally do).
Maybe put up a sign next day if problem were chronic and it really bothered him.

Neither PAD nor gout would explain this and he has symptoms of neither.
From the information provided, either heart failure, an abdominal mass of some type or fibrotic changes in the liver seem most likely.
The anemia and elevated d-dimer (with negative LE ultrasound) further add to suspicion of an abdominal tumor. But cannot be sure without scans.
The cardiac workup described (treponin levels and EKG) would rule out only acute heart attack, not heart failure. Hopefully he also had a chest xray and they listened to his heart and lungs and checked his oxygenation.

That would indicate a blocked number series, and as your card is new, it may have not been updated in the number system at Revolut, oir Kbank hasn't provided the data (not a surprise...).
I think not included in the number system at Revolut. They added Thailand as a country only recently and I would not be surprised if the bank code list they have is extremely incomplete and limited to main cities and tourist spots.
Anyway it has been a bad experience wasting a lot of time.
Doesn't look lik Wise would necessarily be any better.

Nobody except for yourself should know the card number. No support team in the world would enter it for you due to security policy. Maybe Revolut's list is incomplete. I can use my very old Kbank debit card without problem, it all depends on the first digits in the card number...
First digits are not the problem . Problem comes with the 8th digit. Which I suspect gas to fo with the branch.
I can enter the card number myself if they can just turn off the cross check function. Or add code for my branch to the list. Branch code is entirely separate from account number.

How could a UK citizen (native born) come here on refugee status? Obviously not.
And further Thsiland is not a signatory to the convention on refugees so no protections and certainly no support for coming here as a refugee.
Presumably he entered either visa exempt or on TV. And indeed he needs to find a job.

Ok from this the issue is with the issuer identification number and not with my specifc account .
And it is with the very last digit of the IIN.
Which would differ ftom those of you who report success with Kasikorn debit card due to different branch.
I am thinking that maybe Revolut has a limited list of IINs for Kasikorn that includes only some branches, not all. And that entries are automatically matched against said incomplete list.
Card should still work fine and if there was competent support available they ought to be able to override this system check and manually enter it for me. But there is not.

And it is definitely a debit card? I thought all Kasikorn debit cards were Visa, but they do have Mastercard Credit cards which would begin with a 5.
Sorry I mispike. First digit is indeed 4.

It is enabled. Use it constantly.

Yes. A Kasikorn debit card will not work online until it is registered with "verified by visa". I had to do that with mine before it would work with my "Grab" account.
I don't recall if I evenr went hrough an adfitional verifucation process but I use this card online all the time.
Also if the issue was specific to this exact card I would not expect to get the "unsupported" message before entering the whole number.

See posts above - you say it is activated but is your card already enabled for online payments?
Yes and I use it all the time for online payements.

The 1st digit, presumably "4" in your case, indicates it is a Visa card. The next 5-7 digits identify the issuing bank. The last 8 identify your account. So they see it's a Visa debit card from Kasikorn and stop you proceeding further. However, why it works for others is a mystery
THE problem sets in after entering digits 5-7. Do you know if this includes identifying bank branch? Might that be the issue?
-
Does anyone know anything about the meaning of the 4 sets of numbers on a Kasikorn ATM card?
Because I can enter the 1st 4 digits no problem. It is when I get to the end of the second set of 4 digits (i.e. digit 8 of the 16 digit number) that the "unsupported card" message pops up and it becomes impossible to add the card.
Just wondering since it seems others with same bank can use their debit cards.

I stripped down my undies to naked and took off my shorts & undies put the blue gown on before I lay on the table ......now work this out. ...
When I woke up in recovery.. lo & behold ....my undies and shorts and my shirt were on !
How does that happen ???
Obviously they dressed you. Nice touch. As was the coffee & snack. I've never had either.

Well just finished my colonoscopy
It wasnt as bad as a thought
Arrived at the clinic they ask you to dress in a blue gown , leave your t shirt on ,pants and undies off
You then lay in a bed ,the guy put in a needle in my top of my right hand and said it's sedation I think he said
Then took my blood pressure, then he said lay on your left side and knees up .
He asked me like a 100 times to confirm my date of birth and why I'm here ?
I could see a pic LCD tv on the wall
Anyway he starts talking to me ask me something next thing I'm out
I wake up tired with coffee and cake in front of me I eat it ,
Ok I said. ,he then left ,he didn't say it was a dangerous polyp or anything, just he cut it out and sent it away ?
Why would he do that ?
Awaiting biopsy report.
2mm is quite small.

Not "nearly everybody".
But also not uncommon (polyps). If multiple polyps are found, or s single polyp of 1 cm size or more, you'd be put on more frequent screening interval.

25k for an abdominal CT with contrast is pretty normal for private hospital. While it can be done for less at a stand-alone imaging center it is not safe to receive contrast injection outside of a hospital.
I honestly don't know usual cost of CTV. While it is an excellent way to see what is going on with the blood flow from your legs, the fact that ultrasound was negative and both legs are involved make an abdominal cause more likely so if you are concerned about expense you might ask to do the abdominal CT first and reserve the CTV for if the abdominal film fails to show a cause. Though to do both would be the most throrough approach.
For that matter could do a less expensive abdominal ultrasound first, but there is good chance you'd still need to progress to CT.

No it does not.
That requirement is for visa exempt entry not for entry on a TV.
