His asking price, plus his comment about raising the price if it doesn't sell this year up to 500,000 tells you all you need to know about this guy. Ask him just who he thinks will buy it next year for more money, since there will be no great return of tourists coming. Off him 200,000 and settle on 300,000. If not accepted, just move on. Forget that greedy fool.

The real test of this will be if there is a new spike of Covid cases 10-14 days from now. Too early to conclude that the crowd gathering was safe!

I'm always amazed at how Thais NEVER ask a farang for an opinion about how to attract more farangs to Pattaya. They would lose face if they did that. But ONLY a farang will know what other farangs seek in a holiday location. It is NOT removing shade trees, allowing scams and cheaters to continue their work, poor service at restaurants and hotels, and above all, assuming that all farangs are so rich that they won't mind paying for poor quality services and rooms while being regerred to as "dirty farangs" by government officials. Short sighted and doomed to fail. TIT.

It always amazes me how quickly the submissions to a post veer widely from the stated topic. I am not looking for a set new top box, internet options, or any other well meaning suggestions. I just want what I paid for from Sophon Cable. Why do we allow them to take our money and then reduce what they offer us? I for one don't plan to continue with their service as I have the option of TRUE channels and more from YouTube to check out. Not much different now that they choices have been reduced from Sophon.

The ONLY sane solution to dealing with Covid in Thailand is to fully lockdown the populatoin and vaccinate, both done simultaneously! Until that happens there will no return to any type of normal again in this country. Tourist will not return and risk their lives simply because the monied powers that be say so!

Has anyone else noticed the decline in quality programming and channels on Sophon Cable TV lately? A few months ago they took away FX and a few other channels that showed mostly USA TV series programs. Now this past weekend there are more channels taken away and replaced with <deleted>. Why is this being done? Can the old channels come back? I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend my money buying DVDs of series rather than on the junk that they are offering currently. Any suggestions besides suck it up and just take it?
