    That's exactly what it is. This whole incident has a contrived and exaggerated air about it. Even allowing for the fragile egos and easily hurt feelings of the Global Majority it was a lowering of the bar on what most people - who aren't pushing an agenda - would consider to be genuine insult.

    This will scare the pee out of Anutin & Co. In a worse-case scenario it could lead to re-criminalization of ganja and a revisit to the dark days of the War on Drugs. C'mon guys, show some backbone and fight these corrupt cartels - govermental and otherwise.

    The scenario you describe sounds like it could be fraught with future problems and heavy expense for everybody involved. Getting restaurant help is a no-brainer when it is so easy to find a hard working Thai pee-noi in the States these days.
