No, you don't get it. You are trying to claim he is a product of your youth academy. He's from Bradford and not like he joined you at 11. He was almost a man when he joined you and trained by someone else. United are just trying to claim the glory
Is he playing in United's academy yes he has been for well over a year, So yes he is an academy player. End of!!.

Report it to your United website then but you're still not claiming that he is a product of your youth
Sorry you don't get it, He signed a full contract July but was with us a whole year before he signed, Academy players don't sign a contract until offered one.

Is that right? ????.
Still nothing to see as far as the City boys on here are concerned ????????????
Yes mate it was in the Times today, I don't have a subscription but a mate does.
least a dozen top-flight clubs are planning to write to the Premier League to ask what action they intend to take over alleged breaches of financial fair play by Manchester City. In an unprecedented move, the clubs intend to call on the Premier League to clarify its position over the accusations.
The Times understands that a majority of clubs are already on board with the proposal and more were being asked to sign up last night. The development illustrates how scepticism over City’s practices permeates beyond their immediate top-six rivals.
The news comes as Uefa yesterday announced a formal investigation into alleged financial fair play violations by City, stemming from information released in the Football Leaks data cache, but which the club strongly deny. The Football Leaks website was set up in 2015 to reveal alleged corruption in football and has supplied documents to several European news outlets over the past four years. The Times has learnt that Uefa has contacted France’s financial prosecutor seeking access to millions of Football Leaks documents.
Meanwhile, the latest leaked files suggest City discussed a plan to pay Jadon Sancho’s family £225,000 before recruiting the England star when he was a 14-year-old at Watford’s academy. City dismissed as “entirely false” accusations they may have flouted FFP rules.
Their statement said: “Manchester City welcomes a formal Uefa investigation to bring an end to the speculation resulting from the illegal hacking and out of context publication of City emails.
“The accusation of financial irregularities are entirely false. The club’s published accounts are complete and a matter of legal and regulatory record.”
Uefa’s club financial control body said its investigation would “focus on alleged violations of FFP that were made public in various media outlets”.-

Just had a look at Greenwood's profile on the United site. You make it sound like he is a product of your academy. He's from Bradford and he only joined you in July
https://www.manutd.com/en/players-and-staff/detail/mason-greenwood
Wrong, he played for our under 18 last season and was top scorer at 16, and won player of the tournament last may when we won the ICGT trophy in may.
He also went on our pre season tour in the summer.
Been watching him for well over a year now and he is getting better all the time.

I love it when nowadays all you have to slag us off about is some empty seats and our academy. How the tables have turned.
Who's slagging you off?, You do have empty seats at every game the whole country see's it each week at home, And there is a lack of young talent coming through at city!, You must admit that.

Greenwood became the youngest player to represent Manchester United in the Champions League, aged just 17 years and 156 days.
Gerard Pique previously held the record as his first Champions League appearance for United came at 17 years and 310 days.
Wonder if he went to school today, City can only dream of having the talented kids stepping up like us, What happened to their so called Academy and bringing some through, Oh I forgot Phil fodden that's about it.

Do you remember Tony Wilson on 'So it goes'? Seemed revolutionary at the time playing punk/new wave on tv.
It's the same Tony Wilson he did music shows and interviews and Granada reports too.

Tony Wilson; the newsreader and record label Tony Wilson? Never heard of him being mentioned as a mancunian football guru though i heard he was a dirty red.
He lived in Marple on Strines Road. I went to school there. Another Stockport blue area eh Nev ????
He is famous for quotes mate and not a real football guru, The one about city pedaling the myth that the city is blue is spot on.
https://ilovemanchester.com/man-united-fans-dont-come-from-manchester-and-other-myths/
You can read it on here.
He also started the Hacienda and factory records and some top Manchester bands.
Just because you spot another blue in your kappa jacket doesn't mean the area is blue mate.

What's wrong, you from a blue area and can't handle it
It's not fact, it was a survey taken in the MEN and something like 3000 people took part, Better off reading the words of Mr Manchester himself Tony Wilson (rip) he kew the score on the red v blue debate.

Surprised you say that mate. I thought Blind was a great guy, and solid all rounder. But too small to be a centre back, to slow to be a full back, and without the range of passing needed to be a top top central midfielder.
However there is an argument he could do better than Fred at the min!... Fred's had a couple of games in a row now, so let's see if he can keep improving.
He was a nice lad and when he left their was a few that should have been shipped out before him, Yes agree on Fred he is not worth 52 million and rumor is he was a Woodward signing and we got shafted with the price.

I didnt watch the game Im just reading now and it seems Blind had a good game
Lindelof this year has been excellent. He is like a bigger version of Blind. Him and Blind would have made a good partnership (and Blind and Smalling had a good partnership, with Lindelof and Smalling making a good one). Three CBs who while not great are quite good and reliable.
But instead we kept Rojo and Jones. Cause Mourinho is a <deleted> idiot.Blind is a holding midfielder only Mourinio used him out of position as a defender, Was sad to see him go I am sure he would have featured more with Ole in charge.

Off topic I know great win by Ajax, But that win is exactly what we have to do to go through, Play with no fear and the young legs of the lads from the academy could cause an upset, I know it's a long shot but just go for it and hope for the best.

With so many players injured (9) and Pogba on a one match ban it would take minor miracle to win away from home v PSG but again another opportunity for the players that haven't had much game time to shine.
Speaking of which at the Southampton game I trust an alarm went off in Ed Woodward's head when he saw the performance of Peirara (MOM for many) Mc Tominay (been at United since he was 5) and Dalot who at only 19 has a physical prescence that belies his age playing with such confidence.
McTominay has the physicality at 6 ft 4" to eventually take over the Matic role,Peirera, mindful previously of Mourinho's lack of confidence in him may never have scored that goal, he may have just laid it off to someone else and Dalot appears very happy storming down the right flank and his crosses have been a feature
Rather than buy players like Fred (50K +)and Sanchez 400 quid a week and now finished for the season let OGS develop the younger players they already have.I dont have a problem with buying some new young players but bringing in players at the tail end of their careers is not condusive to building a team that can compete in the next 5 years.Zlatan wasbriliant but a short term fix.
Mourinho had at his disposal defensive players like Shaw ,Rojo ,Smalling ,Jones,Lindelof,Bailly Darmien,Valencia & Young but is rumoured still wanted to buy another CB and Harry McGuires name was bandied about.HM performances after a couple of good games for England has been spot on average, hardly world class.
Part of a Manager/Coaches job is to develop what you have not just go and buy ready mades. Mourinho doesnt appear to have that ability
any more. OGS/Phelan do and I hope the appointment now is confirmed sooner than later.
Can't argue with any of that mate, It's a very tall order to go to Psg and get a win not just a win but to go through we will have to score three goals, funnier things have happened in football but the odds are huge for it to happen.

Manchester United 'to move for Alex Sandro' if Zinedine Zidane goes to Juventus - and more transfer rumours
The latest Man United transfer rumours concerns the future of long-time reported target Alex Sandro.
United have long been linked with Sandro, and the latest rumour connecting the Brazilian with an unlikely move to Old Trafford suggests Zidane may play a part in a deal.
Tuttosport say Juve boss Max Allegri is set to leave the club at the end of this season, with Zidane a possible contender to replace him.
João Felix. Of Benfica.
Reminds me of a young Ronaldo.
This is the guy we should be all over, we have been sniffing around him for awhile, I think he has a 100 mil release clause.

Yeah this is massive for those 2 players.... But I've actually got more faith in them (as proven PL performers) than I have Fred. This could be sink or swim for the lad.
Fred didn't do his chances any good in that game gave the ball away a lot first half improved a bit in the 2nd, A good win and two well taken goals by Lukaku and Young finish his off well too.
