  1. Tough test this one even if we had a full selection to pick from Ole will have earned his stripes if he can come up with a win here.

This game Sanchez and Lukaku will have to put in a shift and prove they are worthy of being kept on next season.

I am going for a 1-1 draw but hoping we can get the win.

Dodgy? Liverpool are probably the best side in England. One of the best in the world. Their forward line is devastating.

We started with 2 first team players missing, Marital and Matic, had 3 substitutions in the first half and Rashford was a passenger from the 11th minute.

De Gea had nothing to do, didn't have a meaningful save to make all night. The back 4 were magnificent. Heartening to see everyone else pulling their weight in defence too. We were on the back foot from the word go but still had the better of the chances. If Rashford and Marital had been fit, we would have won 2 or 3 nil.

At half time, who would have put money on it finishing 0-0? Terrific performance from the lads. If you only consider the points from when Ole became manager, we would be top of the league, and rightly so.

Good analysis, You forgot to add the home crowd was brilliant best since Barca 2013.

Good point in the end but I really think we should have taken all three as Liverpool offered nothing really.

Biggest game of the season with regards to rivalry.

It won't decide the title, and we won't be damaged goods if we lose.

Maybe you should change your name to Johnny Drama...

How confident are you Bob? We are a different kettle of fish under Ole than the one who gave up so easily at Anfield.

I'd definitely agree on Modric Mr BJ if we are talking about over the last year or two including the World Cup.

But on form Pogba has to be in the conversation. Who was that other guy who has been bestowed with the 'greatest mid in the world' tag recently... Kante was it? Did he play last night...Oh yeah that's it, he was playing right mid. I wonder who was playing left mid for United.....

Certainly did. As a young un loved getting a balloon for the tat we gave them. Even had a bloke come round sharpening knives, the coalman, a mobile library and a guy who came round sundays selling icecream from a handcart.

This was my local rag and bone man, John Broad, The family was loaded from doing this around Hill gate.

Just prepare yourselves fellas as we took psg to the cleaners when they were at full stretch and we was not. We lost to them in Paris and again we were not in motion and just last week someone turned on the Tap and our forwards are now blowing very hot so dont say i did not warn you.

    Best get the Kleenex in.

Prepare for what?, It's two weeks away and you are already giddy about beating us before a ball is kicked.

We will not be a walk over, We don't lie down easy against Liverpool lad.

@nev what did you think of Martial last night? I felt he didn't really turn up and then got injured.

I know he's still young, but he needs to stop blowing hot and cold eventually.

Have a look at this comparison with Ronaldo, He is ahead on most stats and that's with a manager telling him he is craaap.

I thought he was well below par, Very frustrating as I was expecting him to have a great game as this was his chance to show his countrymen what he is about.

So true about him blowing hot and cold sometimes it's like he can't be bothered.

Phil Jones has signed a new deal until at least 2023.

Unlucky lads! Should have offered the Chinese a 2 for 1 deal and packed him off with filthy Fellaini!

I have said it before mate it's cheaper for our stingy owners to sign new contracts than go out and buy the quality we need, That's Jones Young Smalling all signed new deals when they all should be shipped out.

1987 - day nighter at the SCG, last over of the match, Allan Lamb <deleted> 18 off Bruce Reid, a lasting memory for me.

The Kerry Packer inspired 80's one day series' in Australia were so good, with brilliant West Indies teams, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, England etc. As an expat kid "pommie cunte" it was the best feeling seeing England beat Australia, especially in the ground, at any sport to be honest. Still prefer the Test match these days, real cricket.

Bloody hell I was at that game Bob stood on the hill, Fantastic last over that.

Saw a lot of the one Sayers it was great entertainment.
