Funny how they put off buying the Submarines money then becomes available to help the people.

Drop the quarantine and I am back on the next flight, It's very hard being away from my son and family over there but to sit out two weeks jail and pay high prices to do so puts me off.
I work hard while I am away to save and then spend of which I and many other long stay residents do.
Only answer I can see is test just before you leave to re-enter and then test at the airport if you are still covid free you should be let to leave and download the tracking app, And also self quarantine at home.

100% correct, lights will be burning about this issue but also how to allow tourists to return, it’s all about saving face. They have sat back for 3 months as you say not thinking Covid was going to be a long term issue and have no idea how to move forward whilst unemployment soars and businesses are going to the wall.

Well those that have been given positions that they are not qualified for have no real idea how to manage their portfolios, The health minister for example has gone quiet instead of being on top of this situation and updating the public each day about his current plans.

Well the mind boggles as they say. They seem to trying beat China in a race to see who can enforce the harshest lockdowns in history. It's like watching the economy and people's rights die a death of a thousand cuts and then put the blame on a flu like virus.
Indeed, And we had one trumped up so called virus expert who could not string a sentence together saying when the vaccine comes in if you refuse the jab, They will say no jab no pay ????.
Forcing the health to have a jab is just not on.

Suspect there's a lot more to Herr Stoever's "story".
When did he first arrive?
Has he been coming here for years? How long does he stay?
He could be back in Hamburg in less than 24 hours. Don't they have good medical care there?
There were 836 new cases, and three (3) deaths in Germany yesterday.
I met a German in Sydney on Friday he is flying back there next week, I asked him if he needs to quarantine over there his answer was no.
So all Herr has to do is fly back he can leave on the next plane.

Do you mean they are forcing the cost of quarantine on interstate travellers as well?
Yes, it's a set $3000 and you don't even get a choice of hotel.
My wife is down their in my car and cannot drive across the border has to wait it out, I thought I would fly her up and go pick the car at a later date, But paying $3000 for quarantine put me off.

So embarassing begging a country to let you stay, have some dignity.
I am begging Thailand to let me back in????, Seriously I am married to a Thai and I have a Thai son so I can re-enter but the whole quarantine costs is putting me off, I am currently in nsw Australia where they are keeping it below 20 new cases a day and managing to keep it in check, Surely that should be recognized and let in and self quarantine in my home there after a negative test leaving Sydney and a negative test on arrival I should be free to go.

If not higher it's just around the average age of death.
Many people don't want to see the truth because it's like admitting they have been brainwashed by the media thinking we are dealing with the Plague.
In Victoria Australia the other day it had 12 deaths all in aged care, Three in their 70's six in their 80's and three in their 90's, Now was their deaths caused by covid or just old age?.
The rate of covid19 detection is now below 200 and the whole state is locked down, My wife is stuck down there for her to get back to Sydney it's an a expensive flight and quarantine cost of $3000.

Saw the plan to funnel everyone through Phuket on thai examiner. So now it would be 3 weeks before I could go to where I atually want to be in Thailand.
"Long stay tourists can visit Phuket from October 1st but must stay in alternative quarantine at a participating hotel for 14 days. After that period, they can travel within the island. A week later and following the third Covid 19 test, they are free to travel anywhere within the kingdom."
It's like a 2 week prison sentence, followed by a week in a halfway house ????
Well said, I am allowed back in now but the costs involved and hoops to jump through is putting me off, I might have to bite the bullet and stay in the cheapest quarantine place to cut costs.

Maybe they are panicking because they might have to cancel the 3 submarines on order and bail out the economy instead, Or even better hand out money to the needy.
Thailand did not need submarines in the first place.

Mini bus driver's are some of the worst drivers in Thailand, Many times I have seen them use the hard shoulder to pass with no regards for riders using the inside lane.
R.I.P.

He is being attacked from many angles they are going to make him look like the devil and will do anything to stop him winning again.
When one side owns a runs the media don't believe everything that is put out there.
By the way I have no affiliation to either side I am just a passive observer.

It was a collective mistake IMO. Wouldn't be surprised if that was a Jose plan - target Shaw from the goal kicks and then flood the right hand flank.
After sitting on their asses for a few months a bit of sloppiness is forgiveable. Don't forget DDG and the defence had an excellent record in the ten or so games before lockdown.
More of a conundrum to me is the midfield. McTominay + Fred doesn't offer enough going forward in many games. But IMO Pogba + either of those would leave us too weak defensively. I like McTominay and Fred but almost incredibly, Matic-Pogba might actually be our most balanced midfield.
Sorry mate only watched part of the game as I had to go to work so I won't comment to much.
First game back we was a bit rusty but from now on until the end of the season I can see us going unbeaten but just miss out on top 5 to Chelsea.
Maybe get into the champions league by winning the Europa league.

These utes are dangerous at high speed, the plastic bed at the back means there is no weight over the back wheels unless they are loaded, accidents waiting to happen.
Indeed I had one a tray back Ute here in Australia when not loaded you can easily lose it in dry or wet conditions.

Funny you should ask, You do not have to have any medical qualifications to assess the health of some of the workers I work with. ????
