You'd have had to have had a shot on target to do that ????
We are all puff and wind at the moment, Will take monumental turn around to get shots on target right now.
We did have one on target Greenwood that Vlar blocked.
No excuses that was as bad as it gets.

I actually don't mind Steve McManaman, but having him commentate on a United game is a bit much.
Yeah keeping the shape well as you need to do in Europe. But I'm not sure a Solskjaer side is capable of keeping possession for long periods. which you also typically need to do in these type of games. They are passing it and keeping it better than us, and that means we'll get tired quicker.
He's ok McManaman but as you say it seems wrong but he is quiet complimentary bat times to us.
Still think we will nick this but a draw wouldn't be to bad.

Well it looks like James is playing as an actual number 9, rather than a false one....
Looks like it, but switching with Greenwood at times.
We are looking ok keeping good shape.
It's a worry all the corners they have had that they will score from one.
No real chances for us yet.

Struggling to match your enthusiasm but I'll watch it! Hopefully this can be a good audition for some players - Greenwood, Fred etc - to break into the Premier League team.
Gomes Greenwood James
Mata Matic Fred
Williams Rojo Lindelof Dalot
De gea.
Starting 11. Reasonable team.

Really looking forward to tonight's game I hope he gives James his first start in Europe and start with Greenwood up top.
I am going for a 1-0 win.

Seems obvious to me. OGS wanted Youngie to put outswingers into the box. Inswingers from the left just not working this season.
Pogba needs to have a more central role and be more protected in midfield. He wants more time to select his pass. Does not do so well under pressure for the ball. Stephen Ireland is called for to join the coaching team at Utd.
I actually thought OGS had it worked out. Perhaps he hasn't.
We have gone 218 days without scoring from a set piece, We have young taking the corners and swinging his crosses in and Rashford free kicks it's about time both was dropped and try something new.

Good article this about our non scoring non assisting runs around a lot Jessie the Dab Lingard.
He should have been sold begining of the season after his childish hotel room anticts came out.

Just a little stat for my fellow reds and forumista's, United have since August 147 shots on goal to score 7 goals Bayern just did that in one game
Good to watch Bayern their first touch of their players is immaculate none of this three touches needed by some of our players.

I consider myself pretty streetwise, but if I walked through a bad area and behaved in the wrong way to the wrong people, I'd expect a response which was far greater than whatever I'd done.
Like I say, Haaland chose the wrong guy to scream at when he's injured on the floor.
He got what he deserved There was no reason for him to stand over Keane like that, Thought he was a tough guy standing over Keane and probably got high fives going back to the dressing room ????

That's a bad stat but Rashford and Lingard should be to blame. Pogba and Peirera have more other responsibilites on the pitch. I thought Andreas was alright last night.
Yes Peirera did ok but not United level.

And Keane did not retire Haarland he played the next game and retired due to a long time I jury to the other leg.
Just another Lie city spread about us.

I have stated on Here before that Rashford Lingard and Pogba are all average and I stick by that.
I saw some stats before the game that those 3 and Pieria in 20 games between them have a total of 3 goals in open play sums it up really how bad they are.

You really trying to justify this? And that incident was at Leeds about 3 years prior when Keane knew he couldn't get to a ball and upended Haaland but came off worse. They had met again several times before Keane decided to end Haaland's career.
Haarland retired because of a injury to his other leg ,???? look it up on his wilkpedia.

My advice to anyone is to maintain an address in Australia unless you benefit by not being a resident and try to return once a year. That way it is very difficult for them to deny residency.
A long time ago for you now, but you should have appealed.
I go back once a year do a bit of work do my tax, Trying just to keep a foot in the door so to speak.
Might work for me in 6 years time when I get the pension.

I've always wondered how I would feel if United played Alty and where my loyalties would lie. I'm pretty sure I'd want the smaller team to do well.
Anyway, cheers, ???? enjoy the game and here is to no life saddos like Bob @BangrakBob making themselves look stupid.
Did anyone see the bit on Sky Sports when Carragher tried to patronise Roy Keane with "you only need a couple of players to bridge the gap", I remember from when Liverpool were where you are now. He basically told him to pipe down because Liverpool haven't won the <deleted> league yet. Was proud of how Keano and Jose stood up to those 2 dicks.
Can post the footage if you want @BangrakBob
Not exactly Alty v United but I did go to see Alty v Everton at old Trafford in the 70's.

That'd be toptastic if that many turn up. Most of my mates in Rochdale are United fans. so I suppose their loyalty will be split. Nah, it won't ????
In the 70's when Stockport county drew United, Me and a few other Stockport reds went along with the county fans and stood with them in the county end it was all fun and banter with county leading 2-1 but United got two late goals to win, Well they started to have a go at us and luckily we knew most of their main lads so they held back.

I'm just hoping there's a big crowd so The Dale get a good slice of the purse. Games like this are massive for teams like Rochdale and can mean the difference between survival or ending up like Bury.
Of course I wouldn't say no to a win.
Well over 50,000 expected and Dale fans can pay at the ground by purchasing at United's ticket office before going to the turnstile.
Indeed the lower clubs need these games against the big clubs(well we was a big club once)to boost their coffers, And to think some people are calling for the league cup to be axed, Not me it's great to get a look at fringe player's and players from our academy.

It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better, We still have a lot of players to ship out before the rebuilding can begin.
I can see us in January not panic buy but buy two more long term prospects and a striker on loan to bang in a few goals.
I will also point out Liverpool and City are both flying but all they are talking about in the media is us our motto Hated Adored But Never Ignored, Rings true right now.
