The thing is he probably has only the one way of making money.
Probably don't want him out scamming to raise funds to pay victims of his previous scams.
Might be a bit hard from inside jail. He'd have to cough up anything he had stashed away or hit up family otherwise, he's in for a long stint

I don't ever trust Zebra crossings over here, no one complies with them. Poor lady and poor child, I hope there is someone there to take care of the kid especially with his mother being Laotian and likely not having an extended family here.
They are the most unsafe places to cross a road. Never assume, that as a pedestrian, you are safe to cross at a zebra crossing because so many drivers have a contrary opinion and never slow down for them.
Be afraid at zebra crossings. Very, very afraid.-

Big (huge) crowd numbers without any violence would be great. Would any of this be happening had the peoples' vote been recognised at the last election without interference? Instead, we got an unelected puppet running the whole sh!t show.

Good riddance to this kind of scamming scum. Throw him in jail, but his sentence should not begin until he pays back all the money he stole from his victims. That would be true justice.

I wouldn’t have thought 4.24% was of great concern. Not sure it justifies a jittery response. It’s not in Thailand’s best long term interests to keep growing tourist numbers especially at the expense of quality.

Why don't they call another election but they won't because they know the outcome

The opposition leader also cautioned against potential escalations, reminding the public that a military coup is not a viable solution.
I’m sure there are one or two in the “ranks” that might have a different opinion.
Whoever ends up in the top job will either have a rank of general or will only do so with military approval.
As with the last election the wishes of the people, in who they vote for, will not shape the new parliament. This will be at the behest of the military through the control they hold over the courts.-

The worst possible outcome is that the Generals get gung-ho and start beating their chests calling the shots.
They are not going to be the ones in the front line. That’ll be the job of someone’s sons.
All this bluster over a temple on a hill. -
There’s only one way out for this guy.
Accept a promotion and retire on full benefits. It’s either this or be reassigned again but this time to an inactive, inactive post.-

And there you have it. The reason why it is unlikely to have any meaningful impact on curtailing DUI offenders.

Finally. The preset timed lights are ridiculously inefficient and often exacerbate the problems of achieving free traffic flow. I can’t recall how many hours I’ve spent, needlessly, waiting at traffic lights waiting for no one.

If you have a 63 year old on a domestic flight, is that person likely to say "Watch out for the bomb in the bag" if there really was a bomb in the bag? It is utter madness to assume he was a threat?
The fact that security protocols can't distinguish between obvious non-threats and potential dangers suggests a system that has become dangerously rigid and divorced from basic human judgment. It's security theater taken to an almost comical extreme - if the consequences weren't so serious for the poor passengers caught up in it.

He needs to be made an example of otherwise everyone could do it and then claim they were just joking.
Planes would be grounded, flights disrupted and cancelled. No business could operate under these conditions. Nip the stupidity in the bud now so I don’t have to spend more time at the airport than I need to in the future.
There are some things that you don’t say at the airport or on a plane. “Bomb” is at the top of the list. -
Cheap as chips if you buy from the local markets. Supermarkets can be a bit expensive if you’re not one who enjoys the local fare.

I had an uncontrollable chuckle when I read the headline to this article.
What planet are these people on? It is what it is and what it has been for decades. Someone has their head up their @rse. There is not a single person on this planet who gives a crap about Pattaya’s image. It caters to a niche market and Thailand should man up and rake in the benefits. Their focus should be on cleaning out the the more seedy aspects and promoting it as a safe sex destination. They are sitting on a gold mine and all they need to do is manage it properly. -

You gotta be in it to win it and let’s not forget there’s a sucker born every day.
She probably has more chances with this venture than she has of winning the lottery. Whoever the victim might be would be very deserving of their misfortune and a top contender for the Darwin Award.
