  1. Should be able to get one here too dont you think ?

It wasn't a hard question to answer.

Have commited allready thanks to barrys sales skills , got me again :-)

Im curious how posters access the site from there own words if thats ok by you.

Sent from my GT-N7100 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Don't get me wrong, I think its an interesting question, and I've voted in your poll.

I have a website myself - its a five minute job to pull down visitor stats from Google Analytics. That was the point I wanted to make.

You are getting some good feedback in this thread anyway, so mission accomplished :)

  2. You could try sending a PM to George or whoever runs this site and ask them.

Since you're planning on giving actual cash money to thaivisa, you might get a useful response.

  3. Just the price of the crude oil in a liter of gasoline costs 20 baht/liter wholesale.

The countries that sell really cheap gasoline to their population are big oil exporters (Saudi etc), while Thailand is a net importer of oil.

  4. I'm going to Laos in a few days to get a Double Entry Tourist Visa - at least, I hope I will get it. I have 1 previous double entry tourist visa from Vientiane in my passport, 1 single entry tourist visa from Penang, and some visa exempt stamps.

In the past, I have just presented my passport with the application, and received my visa without any difficulty. But maybe things are different now in the light of the crackdown on visas. Am I suppposed to bring things such as bank statements, large amounts of cash (20,000 baht) etc to support my application? Or is it likely that I will just be given the visa anyway?

  5. Patcharapong plunged into hot water after some members of the school's marching band decided to camp out overnight at Ichitan Group chairman Tan Passakornnatee's business premises to pressure him into lending them Bt3.1 million so they could participate in a contest in the Netherlands. The band apparently spent the entire sum on the trip.

If Patcharapong wants his old job back, he should repay the "loan" himself.

For bonus karma, he should work a minimum-wage job full-time to earn the money. Let's see - Bt3.1 Million divided by 10,000 Baht a month ...

He would need to work for 26 years to pay back Khun Ichitan smile.png

  6. As I corrected my post after you replied. I am glad no one was injured and unless proven otherwise I have no doubt at all this was the workings of the PDRC. Now you try to get a UDD supporter to say that when a PDRC protester is bombed.

Well said. It was probably the PDRC behind this.

When Suthep's house was attacked with grenades, several red posters decided that it was a conspiracy, and that Suthep had attacked his own house to get sympathy.

It appears that non-reds don't believe in those kind of conspiracy theories and fairy tales.

  7. Thank you Patrick!

So, you would be fine if your wife/gf/daughter got in a cab and the driver talked dirty to her and tried to cop a feel. Good to know, I'm sure your female relatives will be delighted by that attitude too. Feel free to flame me but I am more disgusted and dismayed by the attitudes abounding on this forum than I have been in a very long time. Thailand, the land of the expat misogynist!

    Samantha

Hmmmm - I guess you are not a Native Speaker of English.

However, please take time to read and understand the Posts on here before you blunder into, and try to take part in, a discussion.

    Patrick

Well done for making that point. It's disgraceful how people are throwing accusations around on this forum.

  8. Who knows who and if anybody did what... anybody here...? naw Didn't think so.. we will never know who did what to whom...LOL but fun to read all the pointy fingers... anything for the cause eh?

Well, I think we can risk an educated guess that Suthep isn't attacking his own home with grenades.

Why don't you just come out and say "Yep, that one might have been the redshirts". You would get a lot more respect if you tried to be a little more neutral. Why do you want to be on the list of "people who only make pro-red posts on thaivisa"?

It's a pity because you sometimes have some interesting points to make.

  9. Rather disgusted by the many facetious and flippant comments on this Thread.

As one more sensible Poster commented - how would you feel if it was your own daughter in this situation?

    Patrick

    Absolutely Patrick.

Once again, the investigative reporters at "Coconuts Bangkok" newspaper have found a story which strikes at the very heart of Thai morality and values.

This is the story of the year, and it totally justifies the Pulitzer Prize that it will surely win.

Bravo Coconuts Bangkok. And Bravo Patrick - there is nothing funny about dirty old taxi drivers that talk nasty. You stand alone as our moral defender, and for that I salute you.

  10. It continues at 2pm tomorrow Sunday - the event is detailed on the Thanyapura website at:

    http://www.thanyapura.com/home

You're probably right - although the website you link to says that the first match starts at 10AM? Doesn't matter too much if you're just going for a bit of fun and to soak up the atmosphere though.

All tennis fans are welcome to watch these exciting matches scheduled as follows:

    14 Feb Friday 10:00-16:00 2 Singles Matches

    15 Feb Saturday 14:00-18:00 1 Doubles Match

    16 Feb Sunday 10:00-16:00 2 Singles Matches

  11. Thailand leads Hong Kong 2-1 after Pruchya Isarow and Nuttanon Kadchapanan defeat Phillip King and Chun Hun Wong 64 62 62

Thailand and Hong Kong are tied at 1-1 after Day 1. King (HKG) d. Sornbutnark 62 76(2) 63 and Trongcharoenchaikul (THA) d. Kolev 64 75 75

I'm not sure the rankings are too important - how many nations in the world have 3 highly ranked players (I'm guessing zero)?

A chance to watch a Thai national sports team beat one of their rivals - what's not to like?
