  1. Many thanks for your response and information.

I presume i will need to show evidence of my outward flight ticket, to show why i am applying for an extension?

You also mentioned that i should have an endorsement in my WP, because i am currently working in Bangkok. I have just moved from Phuket last

month, same job, same employer, same staff contracts etc. My WP is up for renewal in December. Is it advisable to get a 'temporary' endorsement

    until December comes?

    Regards.

  2. I do have an address, its a condo that i am currently living in, in Bangkok. Do i need to show proof in the form of a Tabien Baan?

I am required to do a 'border bounce' to get another 90 days on the 18th, it turns out i have a business meeting in KL on the 22nd, so

if i was to get an extension of stay for one week, it would see me through. I just dont want to create any problems for myself, as my WP

is registered in Phuket. giving the current visa crack downs etc.

    Thanks

  3. Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to get a one week extension for my non B visa (which was obtained outside Thailand).

I am currently based in Bangkok, and my work permit is registered in Phuket, so i am wondering can i get the extension

in Bangkok immigration or can it only be done from Phuket?

    Thanks in advance,

    Stephen

  4. Im a bit caught up on this, it seems as per usual that there are no rules set in stone.

For me, i am on a Non B with a work permit. I leave the country, on average, 2 times every 90 days. There has been and possibly will be times when i

have not had a business trip, and i have had to border crossing, to get an extra 90 day extension on my Non B.

Will i be affected in any way?

  5. How will this work for the likes of people who work off-shore, and say come to thailand every 2nd month, and only require an entry stamp for the duration of their stay here?

It doesn't affect me, but im more curious than anything.

I do hope it helps sort out the illegals and the no hopers from coming/staying here, all in all it will contribute to a safer Thailand, again, i hope.

  6. OK Thanks for the reply, if i was to get the 7 day extension, and overstay by one day, that would mean that my visa would be cancelled? Its valid until April 2014.

I have photocopys of PP, my actual PP and my WP and also my flight details, i plan to go down tomorrow morning.

You could always nip up to Ranong for the day and cross to/from Burma (crisp $10 for the Burma visa, plus transport/fuel).

Cost wouldn't be that much more than the 1900 THB for 7 day 'rejected application' extension plus 500 THB overstay.

When you get back from your xmas holiday, you will be stamped in again for 90 days from the date of arrival.

Then go to the border again in April just before your 90 day stamp is up and providing you re-enter Thailand before your visa's 'Use Before' date you will then get another 90 day stamp running up to July.

    Thanks for your response.

Generally with my job, im out of the country every month, just turns out i have not left in the past 2.5 months, and i have booked my flights home and realized my visa expires 8 days prior to my trip home!

I have done the Ranong day trip last year, its not the worst, I think if i have no chance of getting the 8 days i will do a run before the 11th, maybe to KL.

    Thanks

  7. Hello All,

I have a one year M entry non B visa, i got it in Penang. This terms 3 month entry expires on 11th December and i am due to fly home on 19th December

    for my Christmas holiday.

    Q) Can i go to (Phuket) immigration and get an extension to see me through from 11th -19th December? Or will i have to do a run?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve
