  1. Just hope the poor Thai suckers who waste money to see this, don't go away thinking that this is British culture.

The poor 'thai suckers' as well as all the farangs who invest in a ticket for the show will be treated to a spectacular evening no doubt. NGHFB's tour has been a huge success to date. An extremely talented artist will be taking to the stage on Thursday, if you are British you should be proud of Noel.

  2. Oasis. One of the most overrated bands ever. And now Noel is doing lame country rock music. Think I'll pass

Overrated? How so? I think Oasis's limitations have always been fairly well publicised, especially among the music press. The fact is, he has written music which is synonymous with the youth hood of many Brits, especially the working class, and there's going to be a lot of people there on Thursday who'll be treated to what I'm sure will be an awesome show by a genuine, un-pretensious member of rock-star royalty.

Well said, Noel Gallaghers input to rock and roll over the past 20 tears has been phenomenal, an extremely talented musician/song writer.

  3. Prices are not exactly extraordinarily higher, if people cannot afford the price rise, then they shouldnt drink

    or smoke cigarettes!!

Were i am from a packet of cigs will set you back 400 baht equiv and a bottle 750mm of spirits can set you

    back 850 baht on average!

And how much is the average wage in the country you came from? Somehow I suspect it will be far higher than the average wage in Thailand.

Edit - We do not know yet how much the cost of beer and wine will increase - only cigarettes and spirits have been affected so far, and this thread is about beer and wine increases.

Sorry i was basing my case directly at ex pats, and it mentions about cigarettes and spirits in the article, therefor i am fully obliged to comment on.

  4. When your misses submits her application form,,make sure she includes ALL emails and text messages and letters that has been sent between you both for as far back as possible.

I managed to bring my GF over to Australia for 3 months. Im an Irish citizen/resident and i only

had a working holiday visa for Australia.

The paper work for my application form was about 4 inches thick! Include everything from letters from your parents/family saying they are looking forward to meeting her etc. etc.

    good luck!
