    Think you will find 95%+ of all Thai houses have the gas canister in the house. Nothing unusual about it.

    Don't believe this in the slightest. Who walks around with near 50k of jewelry and just a 50 baht note ?

    Story fails to say if THEY installed the gas tank or a company installed it. If they went out and bought a canister and fixed it up themselves, this will cost them big time

    Have to assume the dopey plod (who did not come running at the sound of gunfire) left the keys in it. Stopping half way during a gunfight to hot wire a car seems a bit lengthy

    Pretty sure 99% of all condos and hotels have the same issue here, 1 fire in the corridor leaves a choice of braving the fire or hoping the 90ft drop wont kill you !
