    I'd be more interested to know which countries - if any - would come to Thailand's aid if they got invaded. If the countries surrounding Thailand invaded, none of the outside world would really give a hoot and probably say 'whatever'

    Agreed, and that's why we have a flu jab each year. But that does not protect from any new flu. coming after the vaccine was made. Even if pharma could - or would - get the cost of the jabs down to say £5 a shot, they would still be raking in £35,000,000,000 a year if vaccinating the planet every year like the flu jabs.

    I like Trump, least he spoke his mind and answered questions. Biden on the other hand speaks somebody else's mind and refuses questions. Personally I - though I like Trump - I would prefer another person. I have no problem with riling the far left, but it would be nice to see a Rep more 'attractive' to the 'middle'. Odds for me on the Florida guy

    Don't see the NHS changing too much before my death. My wife is 14 years my junior so she'll be taking care of me as well - that said I hope she does not drop dead and waste the money I invested in her for my old age ????

    I get the feeling that the rehabilitation plan is based on Thai operating against no rivals driving the cost of seating down. Expect this plan to completely fall apart when (IF) the competition start up in full again

    Of course, like the rest of the world the idiots in charge of all the countries have seen the complete devastation the disease caused in the economies and now need get back on track as the deaths are just not worth the destruction and chaos. The human race is growing, not declining !

    My point was simply that you are risking 1 million quid on the whim of the next general in the next coup ! Personally, I'd invest 1 million quid in a UK property and live in Thailand on the rental income - knowing I had somewhere to live if it goes bits up ! I prefer a plan to a risk.

    so, they have about capacity for 20% of demand (300,000) per day ? Add say 12,000 a day with the extra buses and they can do 72,000 people a day. The statement of all passengers can travel therefore seems nonsense to me - would take 5 days to transport the whole 300,000 and you may not get to your locale before the holiday finishes - but hey, you could still travel !

    Very little point in owning any land with the visas here. You could well find yourself owning land and being barred from entry.

    Be interesting to see how long the grief lasts as the offers go up. Hopefully she will ask for 20 million or something. Trucker hopefully next 30 years in prison. Falling asleep is not defence, same as manslaughter in my book and 20-30.

    Forgive me if I am wrong - or blind - can you please point out the arabic women sunbathing, swimming , driving a jetski , parasailing or even exercising in that photo. All I see is a woman sitting under a shade, doing nothing, which is the norm for these people on holiday. Maybe its some 'spot the ball' sort of contest.
