I was there on Monday 21/09 - IMM was not crowded

Its quick, in my case I received an email from IMM the next day

That was the same as me, My Extn expiry date is 28/09/20

I applied for an appointment 45 days before, given an appointment 7 days before expiry date 21/09/20

You can make an appointment 45 days from your expiry date

You fill out the form send it to IMM, they get back to you by email, I guess if the time and date does not suit you, then you reply asking for a new date and time

With reference to the above, you need to think through  how the asset you hold would be distributed 

I am married, so we have joint accounts with one of us being able to sign

If the banks know you have died, they will freeze the account until probate has been approved

In Thailand as in other countries the will will need to go through probate and here in Thailand that's the start of expensive costs and IHT in other countries

Additonal information:-

We had printed out all the forms (filled in on the computer) in pdf and signed each one in blue ink

Submitted a photo, blue background

Signed all documents in blue ink prior to going to IMM

Supplied bank standard letter and statement updated today 21/09/20

Both my wife and I have a type Non "o"

Arrived IMM at 1330hrs, appointment 1400hrs, went inside around 1340hrs, gave the guy the documents, after checking, told to sit down and wait for passports, out around 1420hrs

In the will if you are the sole beneficiary, Probate would be granted that you inherit the house / land

However, under Thai law you cannot own the land, the court states you must sell within one year 

You have to print on both sides

Imm do not accept two pieces of paper - one only

CNX Imm send you a date and time by email

I guess once you have the email you could contact them if you cannot make it and have to reschedule

You can apply for an apointment 45 days before your extension expires

I have to renew in the new couple of weeks

Is there a good time to attend

What about queues size

Is it better to make an appointment

The earliest you can apply for an Extension of Stay is 45 days from the expiry date

That has been the situation for a long while

I only saw page one, and no place to add your requested date or time

How does that work with IMM
