  1. Director of Association for protection of Animals Thailand, has meanwhile called on the officers to quickly apprehend the suspect because the incident is a serious instance for animal cruelty.

Meanwhile...hundreds of cases of farangs being stabbed, beaten, shot, and thrown off of high rise condos and hotels are going uninvestigated...

Does this mean that the Thais are more outraged at a soi dog being killed than a farang?

"Meanwhile...hundreds of cases of farangs being stabbed, beaten, shot, and thrown off of high rise condos and hotels are going uninvestigated..."

Where did you get that bit of bloody nonsense from?

  2. I have flown Thai, Emirates as well as Singapore Airlines on the A 380. The Thai configuration is the worse, with more seats in business than the other two airlines mentioned. The aisles are so small the crew members have a hard time taking care of the passengers. The business class on Thai are also much narrower and the upholstery is poor.

My long haul flights on Singapore and Emirates on the 380 were absolute magic while the one flight that I took to Frankfurt was the worse. In this sense I prefer the Thai 747 Business even though they are old.

Being a frequent flier and having been a ROP member since 1993, I am seriously disappointed with the Thai 380 configuration. Sad!

  3. Incredible India! How many gruesome incidents
of this sort were reported just within the past 6 months. The young Indian girl
who was gang raped and eventually died in Singapore. A 5 year old child who died
after being raped by her uncle, a Swiss woman who was gang raped who was with
her husband and now this one. These are only the ones that are exposed but from
what I hear there are many incidents of this terrible nature happening on a
daily basis. It is a ugly and shameful behaviour which brings a terrible image
    to India.

  4. This is quite easy to address.

Just stand each child in a bucket of <deleted> for up to 4 hours a day.

Works for crops and trees and they grow to a nice height.

Lots of <deleted> here in Thailand, especially bullshite. thumbsup.gif

Brainless and idiotic comments, worthless even reading.

Don't worry about all that hocus pocus that milk increases hieght. I saw the size of thais being a problem long ago and that is why I created my special instant formular. Simply rub it on the skin and garanteed to increase hieght by 25 cm per year. Perfectly safe to use with conjuction whitening creams. I will have you looking like a farang in no time.

  5. It is not a question of" IF one loves Thailand or Bangkok or Not!". Some of
the contributors to this forum are obnoxious and vulgar. In a professional forum as this,
it is not necessary to use vulgarity and obscenity . Anyway, it shows the
upbringing and background of those contributors so one cannot do much about it.

We all have choices. If we hate a certain place, we should not suffer. Find better
options. Those who are in Thailand ", in spite of " all the sufferings
and inconvenience, must have some reason to bear all that and still hang around
in the Kingdom. Surely there are better places...

  6. Just to clarify a few points. Fico owners are Thai Indians and not Farangs or foreigners per se. The building was designed and built by Thais under Thai laws. These facts have no relevance to the unfortunate incident where many of the working class might be jobless. As for the owners, it would be an inconvenience but a move to other offices, negotiations with insurance and probably a brand new building which will yield better rents should be in the cards. So bottom line like in many other cases: the staff will suffer; owners and the senior executives would benefit in the long run.
