I got talking to an African guy one night at a bar next door to one of BKKs best unis. His English was pretty much fluent, I can't remember where he was from but he was studying one if the international masters degree programs there.

I put it to him that 95% of 'them' were scamming etc. He immediately disagreed and said it would be over 99%.

Is very difficult to kill a 31 yrs healty man with punches only. Most likely he did go down and hit the back of head, the attacker did not even realized, continued to punch him accelerating the death by brain emorragy. It really does not make much of a difference in the crim, but having seen fights on the ring and outside makes me beleive so.

I'd have said running jumps onto the guys head followed by penalty kicks to the skull could cause death, not that the attacker would ever consider such actions after he floored him.

There is nothing that all Thai women are except (1) Thai and (2) women. Beyond that, this group of approximately 33 million individuals contains as much diversity as any other group of human beings.

That would imply that they are all mentally mature 'women' right from birth, which clearly isn't the case.

I'd say the average thai bird turns 18 in her early 30's. Some later than others, obviously.

The toys out if the pram routine is usually when you don't do exactly what she says and is an attempt to get you wrapped around her little finger?

Or she ends up packing a bag and leaving in a very dramatic way, just to return again later when she has calmed down

If 499 out of 500 Nigerians are some sort of scammers then assuming this one is (especially with this kind of a story) is not racist. It's just a statistics.

I don't have anything against African people at all. In my country we don't even have any kind of black people and I seriously don't care, but sometimes when I read a story like this... I would assume he's up to no good. If you insist on calling that racist go ahead but it's not about skin color.

Are 499/500 Nigerians scammers? I've worked with four Nigerians and none of them were scammers. Have I been lucky?

Considering you 'worked' with them, unless your scammer it's quite unlikey they were either?

Amazing how a little time in Thailand turns everybody racist.  I know there are a lot of Nigerian scammers around but its a bit harsh just to assume if he's black them he must be one of them...if you go to the markets in BKK there are many Nigerians buying shoes and other garments for export..

Have you ever tried sending money out of Thailand?

Can't understand wanting to live in a place where you can't bring yourself to associate with most of the population.

They are very good. Be sure to ask them to check the latest price and give them the price you have seen elsewhere if it's cheaper. They always respond to emails very very quickly and will messenger products the same day if ordered before around 1pm.

ummm... what? I thought it was the other way around.... Those sneaky Nigerians always know to pull a successful scam.

They are at it everywhere. I've been given a few emails to 'interpret' from a gf's extended families super car dealership.

The nigerian was working on a ship so couldn't answer the phone or emails but his nigerian friend in bangkok could take care of everything. They seriously thought they might be stupid enough to container ship a 12 million baht porche to africa while the money was waiting online in an escrow account....

As mentioned previously, almost all banks would find it very hard to completely do away with the US $ , so they are pretty much forced to comply.

It's not a matter of doing away with USD.

Saying that tho, it would only be a matter of time until the ole U S of A starts huffing and puffing about sanctions on any bank that conducts US $ transactions with non-conformists. They've certainly done that in relation to other matters.

And I'm sure she'd be capped to bits if she knew your were comparing her fidelity to that of an issarn farm girl online.

It's not a matter of doing away with USD.

Ok then. 'Do away with the USA'.

Go with your gut, but dont put in anything you dont mind walking away from.  As far as a house, if you do decide to buy put down a very small down payment and pay the mortgage minimum month to month.  It may cost you a bit in the long run, but your not going to get screwed out of too much in the short run.

7-8 days. And if you read the report about the car again, it was the police who went to her when the car was found. She infact reported nothing.

If he'd been missing for 7-8 days before his wife reported it as per the first thread, that would impy he went missing on the 9/10th. Not the 14th.

If I took a gf's shiny new car and disappeared for 6hrs she would be worried sick. About the car of course, not me..

It can't have been much if a search party if he was only 3-4km from the car and it took a passing fisherman to hear him...

You are in the perfect situation. Even though you've not yet realised it.

You are in a position to continue screwing her whilst finding a decent woman for a replacement.

A decent girl isn't going to bend over without a fair bit of effort, you have the time to meet someone else, all the while still getting your balls drained by the gold digger your currently seeing, just play her at her own game.
