One of the three has reportedly died.
No arrests made so far and no description of the shooters.

You can buy oil from online shops now.
If all other medications have failed. I'd give it a go. Really helps with my bad back. And i'm no longer semi addicted to opiates. It's a wonder drug.
Good advice.
If the doctor is only writing the script, then eliminate him and order it yourself.
But if he is providing some other useful treatment then you might want to stay with him.

I've never seen them for sale in shops here, but I've never really looked.
Maybe some member will know.
Over the years my wife has always had them custom made and installed by locals who do it very quickly and at reasonable prices.
We select the fabric and the next day a couple of guys - and maybe a gal - show up in a pickup truck and take care of business to everyone's satisfaction.

Religion, specifically Buddhism, and the institution referred to are allied but different entities.
If you don't fully grasp that, your study of Thai ways will only lead you around in circles.

It's way past time to ask who benefits from continuing conflict in the region.
Your question was rhetorical, of course.
It's obvious who benefits and who their cheerleaders are.
What is not so obvious is why there is no effective resistance against their warmongering and the disastrous consequences that follow these bloody conflicts.

Yes, 200 baht per gram for CM bud... quite good too.
That was yesterday afternoon

High Queen CNX
19 Wichayanon Rd. just off Thapae has a large selection of pricey primo bud.
A fair amount of expensive edibles... but say hey, when are these crazy prices coming down?
But to their credit they have on their bill of fare a choice of "Ganja Muang" - Chiang Mai bud - and a couple of other closely related local types.
At 200 baht per gram it was priced right and didn't fail to please.

Weasel words... "egregiously poor decision-making."
The entire police force in Uvalde, Texas should be cashiered.

Not the country it once was, that's for sure.
Like the US it has gone to the dogs.

Is the US Consulate in Chiang Mai following new guidelines in this case?
'During crisis cock-ups keep schtum. Whatever you do, don't get caught telling the truth."
I wouldn't doubt it... nothing surprises me anymore.
The USA that I grew up in no longer exists.
When asked why I don't want to go home I reply that there is nothing to go back to.
I've made a good life here and am thankful that I have the option to choose where I want to live.

A Covid outbreak is a plausible explanation for this sudden shutdown of services.
But if so, why didn't they just come out and say it?
Is obfuscation becoming the instinctive reaction to situations like this?

The "lonely hearts" who were scammed in all probability didn't know they were dealing with sub-Saharan Africans and crooked Thais.
The way these scams usually work is by using bogus photos of handsome farangs to gain their trust before defrauding them.
There's one born every minute.

Let's hope they've reincarnated themselves with the same levels of courtesy and efficiency that they had in Promenada.

Those positions are already filled.

According to all credible accounts, after June 9th it will be legal to grow cannabis plants.
"Extracts" containing more than .02% THC will continue to be illegal.
No doubt more laws and regulations seeking to "clarify" the situation will be forthcoming. TIT.

Rain or heat? I think I like the rain, in rainy season. Of course if it lasts days, that is not fun at all.
At least when it's raining it is somewhat cooler.
A welcome change after the bloody heat of the hot season.

Sun's out this morning in Saraphi.
After two days of almost continuous rain the water was at our kitchen door. Any higher and it would have come in.

"Politics: A strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principals. The conduct of public affairs for private advantage."

That can be seen in many countries, but in some it is more obvious than others.
