  1. Why not apply for the evisa from London that's what I have ( multi entry) no need to send your passport or to go to consulate as its all done online , Once approved you are sent the visa as a pdf file to your email & just print it off & present to immigration at Bangkok all very easy
  2. Yeah that's what I thought . I've had non o visas in the past but 1st time with the evisa so wasn't too sure how it worked Cheers for that
  3. Hi I work overseas working 1month on 1 month off so will be returning to Thailand from work 6 times a year that's why I need a multi entry
  4. I Think the confusion on my part stems from the visa saying " Length of stay in Thailand 90 Days " I was expecting it to say 1 year or 365 days
  5. OK just not sure if I only got 90 days then would need an extension of stay after that or what . I also noticed a typo on my post saying to show 20k GBP it was supposed to say 10k GBP I had to show
  6. Hi I just applied for an evisa from London & Attached my Marrage cert , my Daughter's birth cert & Bank statements as it asked for bank statements showing at least 20k GBP in the account I never applied for retirement as I was going to make a retirement extension after my 90 days
  7. Hi Attached is a photo of my evisa & it states multi entry as that is what I applied for as I work away & will fly out to work for 4 weeks then return ( with my non o still valid ) then do retirement extension when I get back next time When I flew in this time I was stamped in for 90 days so what happens to my visa when I leave as will get a re entry permit if I have to
  8. I Arrived in Thailand 3 weeks ago on a non o multi entry evisa from London Consulate which I will make a retirement extension with but will leave the country for work in a week then return after 1 month ( will make the retirement extension when I return) I know I will need to get a reentry permit but I forgot to do the TM30 when I arrived Will this affect my ability to get the re entry at Bkk Airport when I fly out ? Regards
  9. Update - Just test drove the CRV today & I'm very impressed considering I can get the 7 seater( fold down flat rear row ) for about 100k baht cheaper than 7 seater mazda (Cx8) & I will got for the 2 wheel drive as I have the AWD mazda & it's never kicked into 4wd in the 10 years I've had it so pretty pointless unless your going offroad
  10. Does anyone know if & when the new mazda cx50 is coming to Thailand, I presently own a 2013 Mazda cx5 & am looking at buying a new car I like the new cx5 & the cx50 or even the new cx8 ( maybe a bit too big ) My cx5 I have has been superb only needed 2 new batteries & new tyres since I've had it ( nearly 10 yrs) Regularly serviced at Mazda Cm who have been really good also Have test driven the Ford everest (Too much like driving a pick up it's based on ) so didn't like it, fortuner same so am going to try the new crv see what that's like Any thoughts Regards
  11. Cheers Guys , I now get paid into an online bank ( wise) & just transfer to my thai bank when required whilst keeping most in the online bank so should be ok with that
  12. Hi ubon Joe The link you have posted is for a tourist visa its a non o evisa that I require as I live in thailand I'm not coming for a holiday
  13. Upon Joe that's not the same page that I get because I have to use the evisa application as I work on a ship 4 weks on 4 weeks off & need my passport so cannot send my passport by post ( which this application is asking to do ) .so evisa application must be different to the post one but can't see why you would need to show 10k in bank in one but not the other other than the fact TIT
  14. Hi It was for non o based on marriage but then will change it to retirement when I go to do the 1 year extension just need the initial non o & this is what I encountered on the application , im 50 yrs old & not retired yet
  15. Hi I am in the process of applying for a non o E-Visa online from London as I'm a UK national I have had non o visas in the past but this is 1st time with the e-visa I have noticed a part on the application about having to show £10k in a bank account ( see attached )in my name I have already got wage slips that show a very good wage but don't have 10k lying doing nothing in my bank account , has any one who has done an e-visa come across this & is it needed if you can show payslips from employment It was never needed previously only show bank statements for a decent amount never as much as 10 grand You help would be appreciated

Hi I'm a seafarer originally from UK ( been living in thailand for 10 years plus ) been working on a ship in UK waters for a few months mainly outside the 12 mile limit but with port visits every couple of weeks , have been working tax free as non resident but my UK tax specialist has said I should speak to a thai tax specialist to see where I stand regarding tax as I have to either pay tax or be registered for tax somewhere Does anyone know a good thai tax specialist to talk to to get some advice
  19. Hi My vaccine cert was issued quite a few months ago so had no qr code but have now gone on to the website downloaded the app & have now managed to get the qr codes so all good now Cheers
  20. I'm Going to be applying this week for flying 25th Nov & the vaccine cert I have used twice so far to come to Thailand doesn't have a qr code . Will be interesting to see if it is accepted . The certificate is from NHS Scotland
  21. I have read a lot about the new requirements but heard nothing about showing flight details does this mean that sending flight details is not required for the Thailand pass ( it was a requirement for the COE ) I take that the hotel you book for the 1 night quarantine when landing will have to know your flight details as they will pick you up at the airport Regards
  22. I have flown home to Thailand after work ( onboard a ship ) 4 times since the pandemic started & have applied for COE usually 3 weeks in advance no problem . The 15 days that are referred to is 15 days you have to attach your flight details & asq booking etc after your initial COE application
